Never saw Stargate? No more weird than laser sword wielding monks or spindly warbots with nasal/mechanical voices endlessly repeating "roger roger," lol. Personally, I like the crossover.

... Too late? Heh, oh well. For the Star Wars faithful I should have made a screenshot with decapitated Starfleet Officers at Vaders feet... I always got a kick out of the rivalry between the 2 camps :)
