Except for some exceptions.

A nice exception is Freespace 2 - it sold most of its worth when it was released, then hit the bargain bin...
And now? Now, a new copy sells even over 120 EUR! Yay for Freespace 2... I only wish there was a Freespace 3 :(
It would have been awesome.

You can't simply combine a CPU and a GPU into 1 thing... You end up with software rendering. And do you have any idea how slow (and bad-looking) that is?

Anyways, one of the good things about a PC is that you can upgrade, while you can't upgrade a console.

Same formula over and over again? Try EA.
Just look at it - they release a game and then make 50000 addons, each 20-50 USD each...

Want a proof? Look at Sims 2 - there's TONS of <name> Stuff... And to think that people are stupid enough to buy all that.

Or basically any sports game - NBA 06, NBA 07, NBA 08... They should have released it every 2 years or something, and just update the roster in the meantime... and/or make FREE addons which update graphics (just like Eve Online has done - you got normal version and "premium" version, both are free... No, Eve is NOT an EA game)

Another proof is Battlefield series.
Honestly, how much difference is there between BF1942, BF2142, BF: Vietnam, BF2...?
If you want modern time, instead of getting BF2, just get Desert Combat for 1942.
Okay, the graphics are better, I'll give them that... But there isn't much new.

Puzzle games that make you think? Here are my top 3 (in no particular order): Armadillo Run, Pontifex 2 (also known as Bridge Construction Set), Return to The Incredible Machine: Contraptions (I remember The Incredible Machine from my younger ages :P)

What some people define as "puzzle games" are games like Bejeweled, Hexic or Zuma Deluxe... I wouldn't call those puzzle games, because they don't make you think. Zuma is even opposite - you're on a time limit!
I'd call those just your normal arcade games.

About the UE4 on consoles... I used to love Epic (I still do, just a little less than before I heard the news), and I think that this is a very stupid decision. There go the licensees for UE4.

Oh and I think that Source engine is very poorly coded... It keeps crashing for me (and some of my friends), all of sudden. Also, Hammer editor sucks - unlike UED (Unreal Editor), you can't preview lighting, subtract, etc etc...

Oh and same goes for Steam - a friend of mine all of sudden lost all his Steam apps. He sent an email to Valve, but recieved no reply.
Another friend lost some of the games he had bought (he didn't have the CD, bought 'em over internet - so he couldn't just reinstall) - they had simply dissapeared. Valve did reply this time, but only to state that they couldn't help. Great support, huh?

PS: Introversion FTW!

Orange Box as on console... I remember seeing the PS3 version in the local store. Even though I do own a PS3, I still prefer PC. I've always had. PC FTW!
