WARMONGER56: I have been trying out and playing war games sense the late 90's, until I found Empire Total War in 2012. After finding ETW I threw every thing aside and that's the only war game I have cared anything about playing sense. I started with ETW, then NTW, and finally Rome 2. When I made it back to ETW I was looking for mod site that modded ETW, when I found Mod db. I started downloading mods to add to my gaming experience, which satisfied me for a while. I joined mod db community in 2020 and the rest is history. I released my first mod in 2021 and have never looked back. Now that I am retired, I mod 8 hrs a day 6 days a week. I plan to mod ETW mods until I pass from this world. My main goal here is to create mods that people can download and get more enjoyment out of play Empire Total War. Hi! There are 2 AI files, one is marked 1700s, Pirates gate BAI CAI, the other one is marked for the Napoleon mod. If you don't have the model manager 1.5, you can download it from my downloads page. Choose which of the 3 mods you want to try out. The 1700s mod and Pirates gate mod are the same mod except, in pirate gate v1, you can play as the Netherlands pirates, in V2 you can play as both Netherlands and Spanish pirates. Download the mod you want to play and activate it with the mm 1.5. If you need more info on the mm 1.5, go to my home page and read the article that I have posted. WARMONGER56: New Update on the Courland Faction. After further testing, I found that, sense Courland is in the middle of three factions, Prussia, Russia and Poland Lithuania. Courland won't attack Prussia or Russia because they are apart of the Prussia and Russia factions group. However, Courland will attack Poland Lithuania. Outside of Prussia and Russia, they should be able to attack any of the other factions. It looks like for now that Courland is good to go as a playable faction for those of you who are interested in playing them. Please note, that Russia or Prussia can and will declare war on you and attack you, so you can be at war with Russia or Prussia at the same time. For this reason, you need to build up a good army to fend off attacks from both factions if the situation arises.

Hi! If you are talking about the Napoleon mod, I am currently working on the Napoleon mod Eastern factions, reskinning the models with new uniforms. I gave them muskets in the AI, which is where you change the weapons from axes, bows and lancers to muskets. I hope to be finished with reskinning the Eastern faction models in the next two months or so. I will address your request in the next Napoleon mod update. Thanks for your feedback and happy gaming.

WARMONGER56: Hi! I am sorry to inform you that at this time I am unable to produce a 1783 startpos with all of the different changes that you requested. I have spent all week on a 1783 startpos and am now no further ahead then when I started. I keep getting crashes. I have been down this road before on startpos. Maybe later down the road when I get to a place that I have more time to spend, I can produce one. For now I have to get back on the Napoleon mod. If you have time, you mite want to get into modding yourself. That is what I did. Sorry I was unable to help you out at this time. Have a good day and happy gaming.

I am tied up at the moment with the Napoleon Mod Eastern factions models but I can make you a startpos mod that starts in 1783, where you can play 41 out of 42 factions. Go to c; / user / your name / application data / roaming / the creative assembly / empire / script
copy and paste a clean txt file in the script file. Name your txt file user.empire_script, which ever mod you choose to download, copy and paste the 1700 or Napoleon mod txt below in your script file and you are done. Now you are ready to launch the game from the steam launcher.

Hi! Let me see if I can help you out. Here is a list of what goes with what.
If you want to play the 1700S Mod, You only need to download WM56_ETW_1700S_MOD_V2. The next 5 mods listed below are addons for the 1700S Mod. These are the 1700S V1 Mod files.
Mod 1. WM56 ETW 1700S Models
Mod 2. WM56 ETW 1700S MAPS
Mod 3. WM56 ETW 1700S Graphics P1, P2, P3
Mod 4. WM56 ETW 1700S Flags
Mod 5. WM56 ETW 1700S Portraits'
You can use these 8 addons with the Pirates Gate V1, V2 Mod which is the 1700S Mod. V1 is for Netherlands Pirates and V2 is for both Netherlands' and Spanish Pirates.

The Napoleon Mod is in 4 parts. The weather, Music, GC Movies, HD Graphics addons can be used with all these mods.

Unzip and put all pack files in ETW /data. PUT all other files where they go. data folder and campaigns main. Now you have to list all of your pack files to the game in a script file c:/ user /users name / appdata / roaming /The creative assembly / Empire /Script . Now Open your Empire script txt file and copy and paste these lines of text in the script text. mod "WM56_ETW_1700S_BSM.pack";

If you have installed the 1700s V2 then

step 1 Uncheck the pack files for the 1700s mod in mm 1.5/place your new ETW NAP Pack files in ETW Data folder, then checkmark them in your mm 1.5, name it Nap mod or whatever you choose and click save.

step 2 go to the ETW/data campaigns folder and replace the campaigns main folder and replace it with the Nap campaigns main.

Step 3 Remove the patch WM56 ETW 1700S Pack and replace it with the patch WM56 ETW NAP PACK file.

Step 4 Open mm 1.5, select the Napoleon mod and to the left you will see all of the Nap mod pack files and they should all be check marked, if so then click launch. Hi! Put all pack files in ETW / data folder, go to MM 1.5 and bring up a list of all the pack files in your data folder and uncheck the pack files from other mods if any. Now you need to checkmark the new pack files in your ETW/data folder, then give it a name click save and click launch.
you have to download part 1,2,3,4 to get all of the files.

Hi! Put all pack files in ETW/ data Folder. Open MM 1.5, put a checkmark next to the mod files, name the mod and click launch to load the game. If you don't have MM 1.5 you can download it free on line. Just type in MM1.5 download, other wise you will have to list each file in your script's file. c: / users / name of user / appdata /roaming / the creative assembly / Empire /scripts . This is why I use the MM 1.5, So you don't have to do all of this.

Hi! Put all your pack files in the common/ ETW /DATA FOLDER, copy and paste the main folder in the campaigns folder all other files if any go in the data folder. Open model manager 1.5 for etw and put a check mark by all the data files you downloaded from my mod then give it a name and hit save then launch the mm 1.5 and you are ready to go.

Hi! Here is what's going on at the present. I have just started on the ETW V3 Mod that will start from 1700 to 1770. The V3 Mod will cover the major wars of the 18th century starting with the great northern war, The Spanish succession, The Austrian Succession, The French and Indian War and the seven years war. Next Mod Will be the late campaign mod which will start in 1770 to 1799 featuring the American Revolution. Last but not least is the ACW Mod which will take at least 1 to 1 1/2 years to do. Reason so long. I am going to divide all 42 factions into union and CSA Forces Plus turn Europe and the East as well into civil war battlefields. The ACW Mod will start in 1860 and end in 1865 to win the game and you can choose to go forward from there. I would like to know what you think about my ideas for these mods. Hi Ihatetobepoor! First I would like to say thank you for downloading and giving my mods a go.
People like you are the reason that I got into modding in the first place. I have been working
on some of the things that you purposed in the last few messages that I received from you.
Over the last 5 months I have been working on some minor and major updates for the 1700S V2 mod
and the Napoleon Mod. Here is a breakdown of the updates that will be out in the next 3 months.

1700V2 Mod Update:
A updated startpos / start year 1700/ all factions starting with 25.000 cash.
A startpos/start year 1783 for the late campaign/ starting with 25.000 cash.
Let me know what income range you would like for all factions and I will add it in my updates.
I am working on the victory conditions and may use the Napoleon mod startpos esf.
I will try to have it done when I do the next update. It just depends on what I run in to
because I haven't messed with that part of the game until now.
Forts:
I did not take forts out because you have the choice to build or not build forts.
Monuments Wonders: I checked it out and found that it is going to be very time
consuming, so I will have to wait about this project until I have some time to
spend on it.
Plains Nations: The plains nations is buggy/ I have never played as them but I found when fighting
against them that they have an unlimited supply of units, so I just kept the peace with them and moved on.
road to independent campaign: Making a new mod may causes the ETW extras not to work. I will check it out
when I get a chance.

Napoleon Mod Update:
I am redoing and setting up India with new units and uniforms to portray the British, French
and Portuguese India companies in India, Plus redoing the Eastern Factions. I have also started
working on a new American Civil War Mod and A new 1775 American Revolution Mod. I have just
about got things setup and organized so I can work on updates for the mods that I have released plus

Fog of war has not been fixed yet. In the campaign map screen down at the right lower corner of the screen click on the square white unit's tab and choose armies or fleets and click on a unit or ship, general or admiral and place your cursor on the campaign map screen and move the unit. You will be able to see the unit now. You only have to do it for the first turn. I am working on some updates for my mods and fixing fog of war is one of the updates. The Napoleon mod says that the factions are not playable but almost all of them are. So far Courland is the only one that I cant play, so I am working on a fix for that as well. Hi! If you are using the model manager 1.5 you should not have a problem launching the mod. I have not encountered any problems with the mm 1.5. I don't ever use the steam launcher but it still loads all of my mods.

Hi! Thanks for downloading the 1700'S Mod, your feedback is greatly appreciated. 1. The ST YR IS 1700/ I will make changes as needed to unit healing. / 2. I will check spies and fix that problem./3. if you would, send me your details on AI so I know more about what to edit to your liking. At the moment I am playing and retesting the mods that I have created in order to try and make them better because I haven't gotten much feedback since their release. Right now, I am playing and testing the 1700's mod. whatever changes I make to it will also be made on the Pirates Gate mod as well as the Napoleon mod. Usually, when the mm 1.5 wont load the game, it is because I don't have the right mod highlighted in the mm. Hi! If you downloaded all 4 parts and are using mm 1.5 to launch the game then it should work. Check to make sure that all of the Napoleon mod pack files in your mm 1.5 have a check by them. The two files you need for unit uniforms and unit portraits and icons are, patch WM56 ETW NAP Models pack and WM56 ETW NAP Graphics Pack. PS: let me know if you get the Napoleon mod up and running or not.

Hi GeneralVonStueben! I appreciate the insite. I am compiling a list of the many different suggestions that I have been getting. I will put your suggestions on the top of my list. So far you have been the most supportive one of my work, and I appreciate it. I have been working on the American Civil War Mod startpos. With this startpos you will be able to pick either the US or CSA from the Grand Campaign menu plus all factions playable. All I like now is figuring out why the 13 colonies won't attack the US or anyone else but the US will attack the CSA. I have been researching this problem with no luck yet. I would greatly appreciate any InSite you might have on this matter. Thanks again and happy gaming.

If you installed Part 1 threw 4 and put everything in the data folder then you shouldn't have any problems. I just tested the mod out working on something different and everything is working fine. Hi Squidmanxxx! I just got threw playing a battle between the British and French. The French had 4 Cavalry and 3 infantry against my 5 infantry and 2 cavalry. After setting up my defense, I was attacked by 3 French cavalry units until they had to retreat. AT this time the French had 1 cavalry and 3 infantry left. They then took up a defensive position and waited on an attack from the British. A rule to remember is, when dealing with the BAI, if the opposing army is equal it will attack until it is at a disadvantage. If your enemy is equal or greater than your forces, it will attack until it no longer has an advantage. I redeployed my artillery forward in range of the enemy and they attacked again instead of staying in a defensive mode until they were decimated by cannon fire. I don't see anything to do here because the BAI acted just like in real life. Please let me know if you have any more questions, concerns or ideas. Thanks' for downloading my mod, and happy gaming.
