Mod works, but everytime i get into a battle in the Russian campaign, everything crashes and breaks. Just awesome! Great! Everything was installed correctly, and it was from a vanilla game. I have no clue what is causing the issue; it's probably the Polish general stuck in your territory. Also, you have zero money, and crippling debt. How the hell are you supposed to play Russia with no money?

note 1: figured it out. it is one of the russian pikemen. i forgot the unit name, but it's best to delete your pikemen.

Pirates don't really exist in-game or anywhere other than some modded versions of ETW afaik. Barbary States? yes! Carribean Pirates? no.

Greece is not playable, it's a rebel state, like Bulgaria or Ukraine. i don't think there's any real way to play Greece...
same with Haiti, which is unfortunate, but i'm not sure why you would want to play Haiti.

hello again

trying the mod out, everything is going well and i realized i had to use the launcher every time i want to play the game so i have to dig around in the files, but that's expected of something that came out in 2012! everything is going fine so far and i like the mod.
just one thing; maybe you guys could add this as a sub mod to current Imperial Splendour, with the new audio, textures and units, and more? it's weird seeing only Louis XIV and George III as the only historical portraits, with even Pyotr I Veliky (the Great) being a default, and all the historical flags missing except for a few such as France and Russia, as well as missing historical units and outrageous pricing fixes. i'd say that'd be a pretty good idea myself; all the new and good things of the newer iterations of Imperial Splendour with the 1700s start date, so people can enjoy earlier events such as France having an existing colonial empire, the Seven Years War, or the Great Northern War with the near perfection of modern Imperial Splendour. just a comment from me though, you guys should probably stay focused on 1.3, and POSSIBLY do this after. i'm not a modder so i don't know how hard it could be, but seeing how long it takes for mods for ETW to be created, it seems to be pretty tough.

maybe this is a redundant feature, but how do you play the early campaign? i randomly stumbled upon an old weebly website for IS with a map of IS in 1700 that i've never seen before, and i definitely want to try it out. is there any way to access the early campaign?

OK so i tried the mod and it's very fun, the chaos created by the insane unbalancing created by the mod is super chaotic and very fun to screw around with, same with some of the new units
there are just a few (A LOT OF CAMPAIGN) changes i would suggest

if the modder has the ability to change out and make new nations and units, they should have the ability to fix units in campaigns. for example; i attempted to play Pearl of the Orient (THE WORST ******* CAMPAIGN EVER) and everything is going alright. i realize i get better helicopters (WAH Apaches) and i think "hmm... maybe he actually buffed us to give us a fair game!" i was completely wrong, as the chinese also get around 14 experimental J-20 fighters with 70% ECM. not fun at all...

in Climb Mount Narodnaya, the decks are all completely ****** up... a tank regiment from the Minsk Battlegroup is actually 32 nuclear bombers in disguise instead of the promised T-55AM2s, another tank batallion, instead of having more tanks (T-64s i think if i remember correctly), it had about 60 "primus" M109 howitzers for ASEAN? these aren't even russian... and dear god, the tank convoy the japanese get! 80 TYPE 10s! that's completely insane! 10 nimitz carriers for the second wave of korean ships, it's absolutely nuts...

Busan Pocket is slightly more in our favour thanks to the Thai F-5 clusterbombers we get instead of crappy F-86 that do nothing to ch'onmas other than stun them and probably force the crew to change their pants.

tl;dr the campaigns in this mod are whacked out the wazoo, i think you should balance pearl of the orient and give the British more of EVERYTHING really (and also remove the stupid anime sticker from the AH-1s for japan, it gets in the way of the cool camouflage), as well as fixing campaign units.

kinda weird seeing vietnam (U.S. aligned country that hates china) being a REDFOR faction (essentially teaming up with china)
i can see its neighbors like cambodia and laos joining forces with the big clumsy red dragon, but afaik vietnam hates china's guts as china hates vietnam's guts as well, i've talked to many vietnamese even excluding my family and family friends and they also seem to hate china.

it would be more accurate and more interesting having vietnam as a faction in BLUFOR due to their political alignment and soviet equipment being used against the red horde that made their stuff
hope you are able to make this change!!!

p.s. i will try the mod sometime, i just have a lot of vanilla decks i spent a lot of time making and i don't want to get them corrupted or something LOL

jesus christ this is a massive scam
i could get a more in-depth WWI mod (TGW for Napoleon) at NO COST except for buying the game, which is about 20-30 dollars intead of 50 united states dollars for this crap, and even then, selling mods is abbhorent and stupid
like alack said, patreons are much more worthwhile and much more appreciated than straight up making a paywall

p.s. you are a massive hypocrite, telling others to not swear in your comments for this shoddy mod while calling others bitches. absolute nonce.

please at least release the unfinished one so we could at least enjoy some of your work for empire and play some of europe, it would be a nice send-off to this mod and then you can focus on university and the korea mod

installed the mod with the latest version of colonialism, followed all instructions, and just breaks the game. i don't know why but it constantly crashes every time i try to start a new grand campaign as any playable faction. everything is in place, i've double checked my files, and re-installed the entirety of etw.
play battle and tutorial works fine but the campaign just constantly breaks and breaks and is getting on my nerves, and this was from a clean install with ONLY base colonialism installed. i don't know what to do with this mod to make it work anymore. if you can help, help. thanks.

hope your exams and development are going well, i've been waiting for this mod for a stupidly long time, do you have any estimates on a potential release date? i love this mod because the concept is great and empire's been boring as hell, with the only real exciting mods being imperial splendour and ACW which get boring fast, while this has so much more potential due to there being so many countries and it being a modern period of time

p.s. skoglundsimon has a great idea of using darthmod files for improved battles and stuff, maybe you could ask for permission to use them? i know my giant colummn of welfare changes and also getting darthmod files in after asking for permission while juggling school would be pretty tiring, but see if you could follow through with them and if you can't that's perfectly fine

Is there any way to play as the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats, and Slovenes (Yugoslavia)? I know they're releasable (attack Croatia region, then liberate), but I want to play as them instead of just making them and letting them go wild.

Yeah, these are just suggestions for when he's finished with the main part of the mod (i.e. tanks, actual troops, officer models, leaders and world events, etc.). These suggestions are mostly just map accuracy and quality of life changes. I'm not really trying to force Hans to immediately put these changes in. I think i forgot to mention that.

Good now! It's been a month. I have some suggestions!

This is going to probably be extremely difficult, but see if you can move Syria into Israel's place. The actual placement of Syria is right under Turkiye, and it has access to the Mediterranean. Syria's placement right now makes it seem like a weird Iraq. I honestly don't know where Israel and/or Palestine would go, but yeah. If you ever find a way, cram Syria into Israel's place and give Iraq the formerly Syrian region! If you can't, that's all right.

Shift Hungary into... Hungary? Strangely, Communist Hungary on the EU campaign map was shifted into a region that is technically cut up by Yugoslavia and Romania, but is mostly Yugoslavian. (note: i just looked back and strangely Austria controls Hungary? maybe move Hungary back into its home and give the old "Hungarian" land to Yugoslavia.

If there is a way, free Iceland! At this time, Iceland was a free country, having gained independence from the Danish and their delicious cookies back in 1944. Looking at the map, its the same colour Denmark is and doesn't have its own flag, either.

Someone else also mentioned that the island of Sardinia should be owned by Italy, as it basically was its property ever since the Italians finally reunited. Corsica stays under French control, but Sardinia is and will always be Italian.

That's all, happy development! Hope school and life in general is doing well.
