I localised the problem, my System Locale was set to English so it couldn't read the cyrillic alphabet. I set it to Russian with the UTF-8 beta unticked and now I can see the name of the guns in cyrillic. :)

Not taking away your glory here, this is absolutely stunning news and I am glad that you guys are working on these big updates. But the encyclopedia in-game is still in Russian for the English Translation addon. Just curious, will you update this later or will you ignore it? I know for a fact that a lot of people do not really pay attention to it which sucks because it's such a goldmine for information.

Yeah. I guess that's an oversight on the devs part and they have moved on to more important parts of the game (i.e. the latest post on the "Articles" page)

Very cool mod! Enjoying it alot! Just a small nit pick, alot of the AK variants have strange names like "ÀK-74Ì". Again it's not a big problem for me but it might be for some other players.
