Well... It's not like I'm gonna buy fallout 3 ( again ) only for this mod.

Let me start off by saying: "You can make it look good, only by words". It means; you make it the way you say it. And with that I mean: You have made a good trailer, but i does not show us anyting then you walking around this 300 x 300 m field with some houses, road signs, trees and green grass. Don't know if it's just me, but that does not tell me a squat.

What i recomend is ( I will admit I do not often make mods for fallout; so therefor i dont know how to do this and dont ask me... ):

Make some new roads ( flatter and smaller )

Make the terrain more ruffer ( Ex: Small hilltops for the houses and some random errosions around ) PS: Look like to me that you are covering this up by putting alot of grass into the mod...

If you are thinking BIG, you can make disticts ( like one that is totally ruined, half destroyed and still standing ( Whith this I can say that all of the houses look like the same )

And last: A new sky ( night and day ). "why" do you think? Trust me, it will make the mod look more... "personlized".

PPS: I know it's a alpha, but you wanted comments; now you get.

It's so f***ing depressing...
My freelancer mods aint working at all, and playing without any mods is to booring!

I can activate some of the mods (unfortunately not the Discover mod), but starting Freelancer from FLMM is impossible (noting happens, and starting Freelancer from FLMM is what I think is vital for the start of the mods)

Anything guys?

I had this problem with FLMM and other mods a while, there none of the mods would start: Missing freelancer.ini and so on.

If someone have or had this problem, i found a solution:

Copy all of the files and folders from Discovery mod (i dont know if any mods wil work, but i used this one) and put them into the Mods folder.

Dont ask how I up with this idea, but it worked!

All i can say: Shoot em' in the head! (and looks good)

I'm really amazed by this, but is this possible? I do not doubt your... expertise/skills, but I really hop you guys don't screw up like other professional... "modders".
(by that I mean: Good start, but then it slows down in the middle and end - It's not so amazing like it used to be (It could just be me, but...)

Music only disturb/distract me when i play good games/working.
Like: You can't hear an enemy approaching you from behind in CS/CSS; with tecno/heavy metal at 100% volume. Or trying to get a decent head-shot!

The music will only become a blur, in my ears, when playing.

The only senario i can think of, that I will listen to music (and playing), is when I'm going on a rampage/killing spree with a fully-automatic weapon. And that ONLY. (someone have to agree on this right?)

Well some of this looks like C&C tiberium sun (and it's a good job too), but dont gives the tiberium sun feeling (maby its the bad resolution? - In TS. Hehe)

Anyway, i say it might be worth a shot.

... Just like Rock, paper, scissor - only extended and ultimately everybody dies... somehow.

i play it on vista, and it worked just fine for me to install it.
There is thousands of scenarios where it can go wrong on vista...
IT`S VISTA FFS!

Anyway you might try to run it in compatibility mode - "run this program in compatibility mode for: Windows XP (service pack 2)"
(right click - properties... - On the install program.)

It`s a shame that there is not any mod (or any that can keep up)for the newest patches...

I think im going to use a LOT of grenades.
