I can't believe how hard this game on, well, hard mode. How I ever played old time shooters as a kid.

Well, as I said. Back in 2008 ZPS Devs did a great work with the mod and deserverd their second or third place. However, in 2009 Devs focused only on adding new content (and mostly it looked rushied and unfinished) without bugfixing old bugs and doing balancing for weapons, maps and game play in general.

I think I this post this get some minuses. But devs should take some criticism and do better in 2010. Otherwise mod will stop moving forward.

Best mod I played this year - MotY for sure.

Go to your Steam folder and remove file "ClientRegistry.blob". After that your Steam client re-downloade itself (about 12 Mb) and then all updates and stuff should work.
This is comoont Steam bug happening then new update coming out to some of Valve's games.

Grats with first place at ModDB ranking! Mod have deservet it.

This is BEST single player Half-Life 2 mod I've played so far (Portal Flash Version Map Pack is nice too, but this for Portal).
You did a great job however last moments of game was to simply and hell! I want more NO2 madness!

Grats with the 2nd place on "Best mod of 2008". I voted for this mod ofcourse but I do agree with 2nd place - shivering and not perfect (or simply terrible) animations (mostly 3rd person) and net code bugs sometimes make me bit angry.

Anyway, 2nd best of 2008 is still a worthy achievement! GJ!

stay in group and you will be ok even with keyboard or pan in your hands. Didn't L4D teached players to play as group, not like Rambo.

Yep. 50$ for a game I get bored of in about 25-30 hours. In fact I'm still playing TF2 and sometimes play CS:S aswell. IMHO, L4D is a biggest Valve fail.

Infact L4D costs 50$ and I got totally bored of this buggy beta-version after 15 hours of playing. ZPS is totally free, but it's rep[layability is 4x times bigger that L4D one.

I hope human starting are is changed a bit because on old cinema people just picked ammo and camping zombies at human resp.

Screw L4D. ZPS rules as always.

I think that transformation animation is nearly impossible on Source engine. Only saw things like this in Doom 3 using ID Tech 3.

I love this mod much. It have such things L4D can only dream about. You got my vote. But, please, guys, fix crounch speed bug and add recoil to magnum!!!! :)

Put it mod into /Steam/steamapps/Source Mods/ folder.

I'm waiting for this mod since late 2005 or early 2005 - then first media release was made.
Main thing that mod should be as good as it looks. For instance, I wated for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. for nearly 7 years but instead RPG with guns and giant world I got some kind of ****** 2nd grade shooter with tiny locations and bugs...
So, let's wait! :D
