Hello, My name is Kyle and i've been keeping an eye on this mod for sometime and I saw in the description that you guys are(or was) looking for some more animators and I thought I could give it a try.
I have about 3 years of Animating experience with 3DS Max and I've always wanted to help make a mod for ArmA 3, Especially a WW2 themed mod for ArmA 3. Only issue is that I come from the Source Engine community and I have only attempted to mod ArmA 3 a few times and unfortunately I have been very unsuccessful in those attempts. I thought this might be a great chance to help out and learn a thing or two from those who really know the engine well.
I also have a Youtube page with most if not every animation I've done since the past 3 years I've been animating. Youtube.com
I understand that its quite a long shot for a Source Engine modder to try getting over into ArmA 3 modding but certainly there just isnt enough animators for ArmA 3(Or at least, none that I've seen aside from Toadie) and I really want to help out and create some great content for everyone to enjoy!
Sincerely Kyle C. AKA Comrade Bear
I was very eager to begin streaming, and there was also an issue of picking a time for streaming, that can appeal to the majority of the community. I'd like to set a time that is perfect for whenever I want to stream animating new content, Showing animations in progress and such.
Since the community has so many people who are from all over the world, me or mp5lng picking a time is a bit hard, we want to hit the majority mark where most everyone can see when the stream is up.
I'm thinking I should start a poll or something and see what certain times for GMT would suit most active watchers and hopefully find the perfect time for the stream.
I'll be comparing my time with GMT and get a few options and I think I'll start the poll in the forums or somewhere here in the comments, or a news update of some sort If I'm able to do that.
I'm starting the stream now everyone. :D
Survarium Gloves! Good choice. :D
Thanks, I'll see if I can get it to work for me. :D
EDIT: I ran into some issues with it and nothing was working but I tryed using an old Extractor for SHoC and CoP that works well and it as well didnt work until I switched it from English over to Russian, Then I was able to access everything. Thanks again though. :D
Is there anyway to edit the sounds and textures? maybe like an extractor or such? I'd really like to change out the playable guitar sounds.
Finally! I loved Dynamic Zombie Sandbox, And to see someone is bringing it somewhat back! You sir have my support! Also, Loved the movies. :)
This looks freaking awesome, Im not a MLP fan and could care less about the series. but the fact someone has actaully put effort into putting this into ArmA 2. Bravo! BRAVO!! Looks fantastic as well, Very good job!
Cant wait for this! Especially now there is hope for something similar to Invasion 1944 mod!
Very little progress, With my lack of knoweldge with the Xray engine, compiling animations, models, whatever is a bit difficult, but maybe if you can figure out this compiling problem, I can provide all the .object files, and .skl animation files for the weapons. If that will work, if so. I will make whatever you wish! :D
EDIT: Animation wise. Not models, xD
I'm shivering in excitement! :D
This is going to great! Thank you guys! Keep up the amazing work!
You seem very reactive when anyone mentions Garry's Mod and compared to Your Game. No one is saying that SSM2 is A remake, Copy, or Rip off of Garry's Mod. People want to know what sets your game apart from Garry's mod. What makes it the better choice. What features do you have that Garry's mod doesnt? Simple questions. No one is attacking you in anyway, Btw. Moddb is NOT anywhere close to how cruel the Facepunch community is. Although, There are some out there in this community that can be alittle extreme, but there is very little of them that I've seen.
If you are looking for an animator. I'm willing to lend a hand.
Although I've never made any animations or mods for any of the Stalker games. But I have been curious to find out!
I'd model and Animate this, That is if I could model. I wouldn't add that M16 carry handle though, makes it look a bit ugly. Very good, I like the wood.
Does this mod work with other weapon mods such as Arsenal Overhaul
Wow! This is going to be awesome! Hope you win the Make Arma Not war contest! :D
Well that sure Hit me without warning!
I'd like to see an Online FreeRoam, like coop with friends killing bandits and searching artifacts and getting rich!
Thegregster101 has a point, this is more of a giant map, gui, and skin pack then a actaul mod. But most CSS mods are like that. For me there is really no promise. I can just go on Gamebanana and look up maps, a new gui + hud and some fresh new skins with awesome animations and models.
Very Cool! Cant wait to see them released!
or release it soon i mean...
This looks awesome! ive been waiting a long time for something like this! Hope you create this!
Im in the USA. ive installed both VaultMP for multiplayer and a server. they work epicly! i would love to help out but idk if this event has ended or not? ill try contacting you guys about it.
MountFilesystem( 321 ) Failed:

Hello! I am Comrade Bear and I am an animator for Source Engine and xRay Engine mods. I am not very well known around the Counter Strike: Source, or other popular Source games with talented animators. I'd say most of my fame would be found around Garry's Mod community as I rig bear playermodels and animate guns for various projects. I've been involved with small projects, the largest weapon pack I've done is the Star Wars Battlefront weapons with playermodel hands support. Other stuff is either not well known, unreleased or to be released/WiP. As far as my STALKER CoP Area of fame or whatever. I'm not well known here, Mainly some may know that I have made a couple of animation sets for the Radium team. Unfortunately since Swartz decided to continue development without the team. I no longer work on the Radium mod. Update Bin: 10/1/16 I've now tagged along with the TAZ Mod Team to work on custom weapons, furthering my knowledge of the working on the STALKER Engine.
