Well I find it lame that they didn't get Richard Doyle or David Hayter to voice Big Boss at least there is a saving grace for gamers.

Apparently some butthurt crybabies went to the administration to have my ability to review mods revoked. I was going to cut and paste reviews I made for the Orange Box Deviant Art group but apparently you have to give high scores even if their crap such as spawn fifty waves of Combine or has one hundred zombies attack each player for Left 4 Dead, or difficult puzzles for Portal that only twitch-tards with no life can solve and want to show off their "skillz!" in something besides Counter Strike.
If you want to see any review I make for now on or into the past few years your going to have shift through the Orange Box box group's journals, just don't get butthurt if I give your own or favorite mod an unfavorable review like the people on this website. I'll just link to some of the more notable single player ones, as muti-player mods tend to change all the time. I can't post a few of these at Moddb due to the 2000 character limit.
Most of them are me just nagging people to play Source mods or tell them to avoid crappy ones, so moddb users are not missing much anyways. I also won't bother posting anything before dA created the group system. Since I set a weekend deadline some entries will cover a sole mod or anywhere from three to five at a time.

If your pissed that I gave your favorite mod a bad review in the past updates I didn't bother to link too, well that's your fault for having poor taste. The ones I posted are some of my more positive ones for the mods that I enjoyed playing, and if you don't of like any those mods my advice is that you should uninstall Steam. 
10/12/11: Also hardcore nublets can go screw themselves, stop trying to make Half Life 2 and Portal play like Doom, Qauke and COD. Old school FPS twitchtardism should have died all the way back with the release of Half Life itself.

Remember that review of Minerva Metastasis I promised a while back? Yeah I finally did it, although on another website. No I will not re-post here, as its a pain in the butt to edit two versions of the same review. Also for some reason the blog system is being an annoyance for no reason at all. Also keep in mind that it's on a deactivated user name at DA.
I know I hardly ever bother to update it unlike my real blog, I only cover games and weapons here anyways.

Another unit of the United States military will finally know what its like to go into combat with a rifle that isn't dirtier then Britteny Spears' vagina. :p Although Delta Force and Navy Seal Team six have been using the HK416, it'll be the first time in decades that a unit isn't using an AR-15 variant.

In the meantime , check this out. The Magpul PDR, Google link because there are hardly any good pictures of it. It uses 5.56x45 ammunition with STANAG magazines instead of weapon exclusive calibers meant to replace 9mm rounds like the ones used by the
H&K MP7 and the FN P90, it's also smaller then the Knights Armament PDW. Upon learning about this weapon, I must say I had a nerdgasm. Magpul says they'll offer the weapon in other calibers in the near future.
Anybody wishing to complain about the disadvantages of bullpup firearms will be linked to the Wikipedia article.
I'm also aware that Heckler and Koch have something smiler with the Hk53 , but
it doesn't have comparable firepower to the AR-15 variants.
If the United States of America was really run by the Jews, then the armed services of our country would have all ready adopted the IMI Tavor. :p
It 's just stupid for anybody to use a rifle with the obsolete weapon system known as direct impingement. Most countries expect a select few are replacing the shittaculer m16/M4 with better guns such as the HK416, G36, and the Tavor(in fact it's replacing some AK's!). In the good old US of A, the US Socom replacing is replacing the crappy gun with the FN Scar. Most of the better AR guns remove direct impingement like the HK416 remove it all together, thus Heckler and Koch have made a much better rifle. If a bullpup weapon that is smaller, more compact,has better range, and a comparable rate of fire then a direct gas piece of crap then its obvious the old weapon system sucks.
These weapons only exist in mods because gamers don't know any better. I always replace a crappy direct gas rifle with a better one, be it in Counter Strike or mods.The reason I haven't bought Left 4 dead yet is that I don't want to see or use an obsolete gun. The Combine Overwatch in Half Life 2 would never use such a shitty weapon, though it would be funny too see a Combine soldier's rifle jam and be forced to clean it or (even better) use a backup weapon. If your going to use an AR weapon in your mods use the HK416, Rec 7, Bushmaster ACR, Robinson Armament XCR, the Knights Armament PDW, or even the Aramlite AR180B. Honestly any piston driven rifle that isn't a Kalashnikov derivative would be a better choice.
There are probably even more AR variants that remove the obsolete direct gas system that I don't know about. I only know about these guns because I have done the research with Google and wikipedia. So you do not need to be a weapons expert to learn about much better assault rifles.
Also anybody who bashes direct impingement/direct gas weapons will get positive reputations from me.
