Lucas kinda earned himself a bad reputation for his "Special Edition" edits. That said, the prequels are enjoyable, but can't stack up to the Original Trilogy for a number of reasons.

Where can I get those extra maps for the game? I used to have them, but lost them and can't find them. The AI was bearable on those maps.

Yeah, the AI is usually too aggressive or does nothing. Oddly enough, you can download one of the community made maps and the AI on those is just right, for me.
