This mod looks great, just a quick question, when I load in, there is no UI, or it is in the middle of my "imaginary" screen, as when I hit pause, I can just see part of the menu in my lower right hand area of my screen

The Exodus Road...

Goals for the next 2-3 months include:

Learning how to edit simple in game code so the Vision / concepts of Mechcommander: Zero Hour can be show cased in a very basic "placeholder" fashion.

The setting up of units and tech trees, such as infantry and tanks

Better visuals for the website and in game unit tiles

And testing of custom maps

~LynX Hey there, any updates about Battletech Generals TCS ? I read something about Masakari "maybe" opening up the internal version to work on the much more detailed build. Or IF I can get a team together, can I seek permission to use TCS as a base ? or even join the team :)

I am all for getting it revived, as I have had a passion for Battletech since 1996. I believe that RTS Base Building Command and Conquer style Battletech is the last un tapped reserve of great potential.

The most I can offer at the current time is just website design, lore, concepts, and community promotion. I have made a page as a discussion about the future of this, that can hopefully grow in support and ideas for the said style of game

Masakari I saw your latest post about possibly opening up your internal version of the old Battletech The Capellan Solution, dated August 2019

I have long dreamed about a more detailed version of the mod, always being wowed by any battle armor, mecha games, especially Tiberium Wars, I first got into Mechwarrior as a Falcon in 1996, and have had a passion that continues to this day.

I have been posting around trying to get notice about reviving TCS, and using it as a base to add to. I am trying to get in touch with the creators to seek permission to use the mod as a base, OR even join the team, unfortunately I have no coding or model design skills, just ideas and concepts. I am good with website design and lore detail.

I have always loved Mechwarrior and Commander from the start, I did basic mission editing then, now 20 years later, I have decided to go full on into creating pristine missions, maps and campaigns, with the great tools that I have found here :)

Quick Question I have downloaded the latest from here, MCG Darkest Hours and the Mission Editor tools, including Extender, but when I try to launch it, the error

"Run time error 53: File not found" comes up.

Any help ? Thanks

Question? What is the "rules" pertaining to "dead" mods, in this case well over 10 years, as I want to revive it and use it as a base for further modification and new overall concepts

Also on the mod it says it is "officially" dead

Die-hard Battletech Fan here, just wondering, what is going on with TCS for Generals.

I loved it, and I think it still has so much potential...(Zero Hour)

Since it is "dead" what are the IP rights to the files, etc ?

Is it now "Open" for any fan teams to mod, play around with ?

As I would pour my heart and soul into having the best go I could at creating a "Spiritual Successor" to the mod ???
