It wasn't my intention to flame/troll you Mod, quite the opposite, I see you guys have some coders on board and that's a plus! Now what I think you guys should do is looking for good GFX team. And blurred images aren't really good to show off, people always want to look for small details and stuff like that, and in a blurry image you can't notice any of those. For beauty shot, don't a use a game engine, instead use a renderer, it's an beauty shot so it doesn't have to be in-game quality. When searching for good GFX artists, advertise in all the forums you can, without spamming, and make sure you tell them you have coders, because most good artist will only join a mod if they have progress or a coder.

You know they didn't make it right? Right now I am not really impressed with the mod, they haven't showed us any real custom content, at least content made by the team and not by other peoples that compiled their models to the source engine. I see a bit of coding work which is not bad, but the art aspect right now is awful... I see you guys put renders of models and stuff like that but never show them actually in-game or even textured, and most of the screens are blurred which looks terrible.

There's no such thing as DX9.5 and GeForce's 6200 can barely handle DX9... :/ And you need to fix the textures on the map, it looks like it is cutting in the edges of the buildings.

Why make a mod that won't be fun at all? I am already imagining the picture... it's like CSS but without blood, no swearing, no guts, no deaths, no damage... so it is like a CSS: Kindergarten version?

Also Source Engine can't addle the dimensions of the BB, it is way too small so when you convert it to the game it will appear invisible.

It won't look like that in-game... not even near, that's using HDRi plus a lot of more shaders that's impossible to port over Source Engine.

Did you meshsmothed it?

One suggestion about the comments below made by the leader of the mod, don't ever make that kind of comment, it looks unprofessional, you could just say, "that car doesn't fit in the game environment so we won't put it, not matter what."

There isn't a smd exporter for 3ds Max 9, my guess is that you "warez" it so it's natural that most of the people that actually work on that kind of stuff haven't bought it yet.

What are you talking about? It looks very good, do you know how hard is to make a replica of a model?

Looking foward to this, I like the idea but hopefully you will have more to show than a simple logo and a pre-made website, in the next few weeks.

The front lights don't look alright to me. You could check on that. Otherwise it will be nice to have these in-game.

Yea it isn't low-poly, it is tunned so it looks different, but it still doesn't look very accurate.

Well I am sure you know you can't just port the city like that, you have to do a lot more, which by the way Source Engine cannot handle.

We use just the good old fashion Hammer.

Not to turn down your mod or anything, now that I think of it... yesterday I was really in a bad mood... anyways what I am trying to say is that this engine(Source Engine) isn't the most favorable engine to your kind of mod, since most players that has bought Half-Life 2 aren't going to be very impressed or at least interested in a mod such as this, most players that play Half-Life 2 like gore and action, you would get a better community if you made that with another engine.

But you need to ask permission for those mods because they are the ones that have worked their ***** for the community...

Something tells me that you haven't asked permission to use all those mods...

This got great potential but please don't make vehicles on hammer make them as a Model.

Looks who's here, the Mister Model Thief, so do you want a proof? Sure! I am sure you can notice some difference in quality, and you even blurred the AK so they don't notice it...but come on!.
And are you saying you still work at Silent Hill? Well I am not sure...go check if your name is there :D.

And you said that the mod takes place in 2018 but how come all the weapons and cars are way older, of course it could be older but now all, shouldn't it have newer stuff?

You started this mod 3 days ago and it is already in-active!? This ain't go nowhere. And you said you would model some of the cars, I bet that isn't even true, why don't you show us some of your models?

First why don't you show us some Media, like maps, models or coding? Because you need to show what you can do on the team. Making the story doesn't count and by the way, you sure have lot's of cars, don't you think you are being a bit ambitious? Unless you are the one who is going to model them.
