This is the same file that the auto-updater uses.

Have you downloaded the 2008 and 2010 C++ redistributable packages from Microsoft? This error is caused by the scripts being compiled with a newer vesion of Visual Studio. It also helps to have the latest possible DirectX version for your Windows OS version.

I can't remember what I did, but I installed the C++ redist, and then did 1 more thing (cannot remember what it was), and it worked.. Try updating DirectX

A lot of them are, and are currently being replaced. Lack of modelers slows down this process, of course.

Let's say that there is some on that list we don't want back :-). However the likes of danpaul don't want to go back. I remember danpaul didn't do much beyond rig up a few vehicles and edit the level edit program for us because he had other projects going on at the time and is no longer interested. Pretty crappy really since we have a tiny team now (mainly E!) and virtually no testing team

They were all involved at a stage, however all left when SCUD Storm changed hands in late 2007/early 2008. The team was effectively wiped out.
