Is it working on 64-bit linux yet?

Are mods for this game platform-specific? I'm wondering how to install them in Desura on Linux...

Gives a strange error when I try to install. Maybe linux-specific problem?

Problems with sound, server lists, resolution keep me from playing this game. I'm sure there are fixes for all, but the game really should "just work" and many people are having these issues, which should just come fixed on install.

I'm on Ubuntu 64bit. Doing what shocks suggested fixed it so now it launches correctly in desura.

The latest patch seems to have broken the game from launching from within Desura. However, it works if I go into the directory and run savage2.sh. Strange...

Just letting you know that the main webpage for the game still says "to be released on January 25" and "pre-order" as does the main Unigine site. Updating the game is important, just don't forget the webpage :)

Desura crashed while I was updating to version 1.01, and now the problem remains after verifying the files. The game works fine though, so it must just be a bug in Desura.

I've noticed that since updating from the beta to version 1.00 the game's status now has the lightning bolt (as if it was a demo) and it says Updating 0%. Even if I ask it to verify the files, once it's done the status remains the same. Is anyone else having this problem?

I've been playing this game for the past week and am really enjoying it! :)

However, I've found a bunch of little bugs and glitches and I'm not sure where or if I should report them. Is the game still supported by S2 games or is it just voluntarily maintained by community members?

Didn't work for me

I'm trying to figure out how to see my in-game FPS. I found the following at a forum and edited my startup.cfg but it didn't work:

SetSave _togglefps "1"

Any ideas?

Nevermind, go it to install and run, first had to delete the directory and reinstall fresh.

I can't even get the game to install...it just keeps crashing Desura, trying to update, or getting an error during installation.

They should put the demo up on here too. I remember it being good enough to convince me to buy the game back in the day...

I'm trying to play Jamestown with my little brother, but his joytick only has 3 buttons, and apparently the joystick MUST have a 4th button for pause or it can't be used. Is there any way around this? He doesn't need to pause using his joystick anyways...

Are humble bundle 4 desura keys coming? May be a good New Year's resolution :)

I'm getting the message "no response from master server" when I try to play online and simulaneously my ethernet drops and takes a few seconds to reconnect when I return to the desktop.

I just tried the newest version 0.91 and there's a noticeable performance increase (about +30 fps). I'm sure it'll be on Desura soon as well.

I turned up the resolution on the game but the text is now really small and hard to read. I didn't see a font size option in the menu though. How can I make the text larger?

I haven't had any problems playing the videos within the client.

Ok it seems to be installing and working fine now after the latest Desura client update.

I just installed the demo and it won't launch because the binary folder is named "Binaries" instead of the expected bin. After renaming the directory, the game still won't launch though. So I removed the entire folder and reinstalled, and now I instead get an error that file /desura/.settings/game_lib32/libjpeg.so.64 couldn't be opened. Is anyone else having similar problems?
