I can't even begin to express how much joy this mod has given me. I have been craving something like this ever since I knew editing wolf3d was possible, and 10 years, no one has ever managed to deliver something to a level of creativeness, subtle depth, humour, and engeniousness that you have done here. This is like a modern day Chokage, with a slew of sweet editing enhancements (music, non-gameplay pictures, ending messages) added to the pile of crazyness. While everyone else is focusing on unoriginal, realistic, historically accurate WWII stories or basing addons on movies and other games; you do what I like to play best. Something colourful, modest, unpredictable, with some kind of unique personal flavour that people can open up to. If I could describe where I feel The Best Mod of The World stands, you would definately be my successor of the 21st century.

There is too many innovative things here to mention. The faq rocks my *** off, the cryptomatic menu/game writing really adds some element of mystery, and the extremely varied status bar always keeps things interesting (I love how the gun photos carry totally unrelated pictures; like the village with houses - not to mention all the different BJ pictures). Running around finding dying dogs trying to take cheap shots at you was the icing on the cake, and you really got me confused with that "making you look around every time you open a door" trick. Having three different platforms to experience the game in is another very sweet reason to play the game even more; they all go really well with the insanity of the set. So far, I only beat one Episode, and I couldn't believe how masterfully executed the endgame message was; better than anything I could have ever imagined (not only the content, but also how you slimed my only means of knowing how much more crazyness to expect). Alot of clever ideas hiding in here; I can't wait to uncover more!!! :)

lol... UeberWolf. I played your addon on the Dome today. Not bad at all, especially for a game with only one enemy, and one song (which seems to have a cult of it's own). I'm looking forward to playing all the way to the end. Cool how the game comes with both NewWolf and the original environment too.

That's an interesting outlook; though very flawed. As you can tell by my original post, I couldn't stand this place - as I really hated the boring depression of the original gray colours. Being neutral isn't what makes music interesting, it isn't what makes artwork interesting, and it isn't what makes games interesting. I played way too many gray games, it's a horrible habit to get into. It doesn't suit my tastes at all, it makes me want to go kill myself. Sorry.

Neutral = ok... suiting everyone's tastes = inaccurate.

Oh, and to everyone else... this is my game, Chokage - but my grandma helped me with some of the voices; she likes pretending to feed people 2% milk when it's really **** milk wrapped inside a 2% bag. Man, this is starting to totally make sense now! Everywhere on EARTH seems to link directly to Mr. Lowe's page, which still had the version from November 2nd! There was a November 3rd copy issued that fixed level 5 issue (which I just assumed people updated to - but they really didn't; lol), and also a patch on November 29th to upgrade people's saved games. No wonder why people are still talking about this!!!

There is an updated version issued today that lets people with low memory see the game at full screen; and fixes a few other minor things (special weapons are 2x stronger, for instance). It replaces the old link at the top of this page under the "Download URL" section of "Contact / Action Options". I'll include the link here as well:
