It's more concept than anything. There's a much more complete looking version of this lurking around somewhere.

It is not designed as an online mod.

Heh, well, the development page had an update on my status long before this one got one, I'd recommend checking it out a little more often. :-p

Still though, my bad.

Hey man, I had to take a hiatus from our mod but I'm back in full force now. Feel free to check out our mod page and read the description and whatnot as it gives a pretty good feel for what we're doing over at Firewind.

Well also keep in mind that those are not the only professions available.. Just a sprinkling.

I am working on a complete rewrite of the main summary now that we have most of the team together and I have an idea of what our main character has been through and where he comes from.

Things have been a little erratic for me due to the holidays, but after tonight and the New Years celebrations are all over, it's time to really buckle down and get something playable to begin taking form.

Thanks for the input anyway though. As the project director I'd like for our players to be very heavily involved in the evolution of the mod.

Project FIREWIND is in dire need of a few modelers. We have one but the work load would be unfair for one person to have to handle.

This is an incredibly serious and ambitious mod, the likes of which have not been seen in a Half-Life 2 conversion.

We're really excited about this mod, and we hope that comes across in our final....well, it will never really be final due to the updates...maybe polished is a better word. We hope that comes across in our polished version of the mod.

I certainly do too. This mod will see light, and it won't be very long into the future. Once we really get crackin' it will be easier to give an estimate of the first demo release.

EVE Online is not a game I have played, so it is not at all inspired or influenced by it.

Also, as stated before, this is an offline single-player game.

It is meant to be a Single-Player experience, much like Elder Scrolls.

However there will be a multiplayer element down the line. Its just still way too early to talk about. =]

Well if you ever have a little time on the side we'd be happy to have you aboard as a contributer. Your mapping looks great, its a shame somebody snagged you before we came along. :-p

Unfortunately, my skills in concept weapon art are minimal. I am looking for a concept artist for that field. My skills are in natural/environmental concept. We do encourage our modelers and other artists to use some creativity and improvisation in their representation of what we ask of them.

If you have any free time at all between your normal life and the 7even project, we'd be happy to have you come on board Project FIREWIND. We are in need of weapons and props and you seem very capable of doing both.
