The way the game handles saves simply isn't set up for quick saves.

Can you describe the steps to reproduce this problem?
It should work correctly with the EA version, yes. Let me know if anything is strange.
"Also with the latest version of the mod there is issue of nomad self head model being visible all the time." Late reply, but what do you mean by this?
The mission where Prophet is kidnapped? I'll take a look.
I'll look into it.
Unfortunately I've been unable to reproduce the issue with the Ceph behaving wrong. However, I'll keep an eye out for it.
I'll take a look at the muzzle flash thing when I have time. The ray traced gun bug is probably out of my expertise to fix.
I've been unable to reproduce this bug.
Thank you for the feedback. I'll look into it.
I got too busy to keep this mod up to date, but I might revisit it in the near future.
Sorry, I've been terribly busy. I'll look into it ASAP.
Darn, I'll check again.
I'm going to release a new version with some issues with the installer and stuff fixed soon.
I see I made a mistake with one of the files. I'll fix that ASAP.
I've uploaded a new version. I do plan on releasing more versions of the mod in future, with more bug fixes and stuff. But in the meantime I also wanna do some bug fixing on C2R and C3R (maybe) while also putting out a new update for the SGW3 mod.
Sorry for the delay, I've just been busy with some other stuff, and have been redoing the installer to allow people to properly roll back to vanilla. Should have updated version ready by end of week.
I'll try to see if I can find out what's going on.
If they're not going to patch the game any more, then uninstalling is a bit easier. When they were still patching the game, deleting the files and doing a file integrity check was the best way to revert.
Please note that the mod has not yet been tested with the new PC update released today. I will investigate what Crytek fixed, and update the mod as soon as possible.
The update on the EGS version shouldn't have changed anything important.
For many years, I have asked myself, "Why haven't modders stepped up and created a female JC model, hired an actress to portray JC, and tweak the voice lines to make it work?" Because female JC was always intended. The name JC Denton is both "Jesus Christ" and a gender neutral title chosen (just like Alex Denton) to facilitate a female or male lead.
I am really pleased to see modders doing something like this, and will be using this for my next playthrough.
That's because it overrides defaultProfile to make the FOV adjustment keys work.
No. It's a bug that only occurs when you hold the crouch button. It doesn't happen with toggle crouch. (The game is contextual. If you tap, it treats it as toggle. It if hold it treats it as hold crouch.)
I am not sure this can be fixed through modding. The logic that handles what happens when you hold the button, press the button, release the button -- this is all C++ code that I don't have access to.
There is a "solution", but some might not like it. Remove the hold crouch function, leaving only toggle crouch.
I've noticed a few bugs I'm currently working on fixing.
The textures are DDS, with mipmaps split out. There are tools to recombine them into a single file. And the game will accept new textures as long as they use the right compression. (OG Crysis textures are also compatible.)
Yoy have my deepest sympathies. I think your game is lovely, and you've done a good job of improving it post-release. As for what can be done, you could consider rebranding. As much as I personally like the game's title, G String seems to alienate a lot of people. And this is a "it's the children that are wrong" situation. But maybe talk to Lunchhouse and see about rebranding the game's title into something that maybe avoids this blind, stubborn "I saw the title and didn't look further" reaction some people have.
Kinda like how No Truce with the Furies became Disco Elysium in part, I think, because people seemed to associate the title with Furries.
Download the latest version, and then from installer bat file, you choose the Unofficial Patch install option.
Unfortunately, that kind of thing isn't possible. The C2 cover system is coded into map data, and the underlying functionality doesn't exist in C1R's engine AFAIK.
The game isn't balanced around the original enemy counts. The entire game was rebalanced around checkpoint saves. OG Crysis was balanced around quick saving. It's not a simple issue to fix.
As for your other points, I'll take a look. It is possible they removed the music trigger, but it could also be the result of them chopping up the music into multiple xml databases and then failing to import the correct ones, as in this case.
edit: It's trying and failing to run a music theme called "Motivation". There are a few ways to solve this problem. I'll see what I can do.
