That's a good start. Some days I wish I could get back into modding I been through my own mistakes and errors with projects I am happy to pass on. Just make sure its not to ambitious start with a small goal even maybe get 1 mission done and working 100% and if it does then you got your system ready and will help the team moral. Just remember to think small that was my biggest mistake, small can grow but start to big its likely to collapse.

Just some tips for you. I would make sure to have a fully detailed document explaining story, characters, locations, missions etc.. Before you recruit or else you will have trouble finding help. I been in my own projects and ones that are not organized and ready to go never go far.

All they did was take a picture of the blog it is a generic template... lol necr0s also your going to be biased to your own work. Moddb staff felt it is what they wanted then you lose. Sorry but you and everyone else that entered though thier ideas where good your not only one. Right now though your the only one complaining about the winners.

necr0s dont be such a sore loser. The winners deserve it they did a great job I wish i spent more time on mine than i did non the less they deserve to win and moddb staff choose the right people.

Thanks for the offer I appreciate it but I am currently working on my mod so I don't have time to lend work anywhere else. Good luck with your mod I hope it succeeds.

To me a good horror game would include the mix between unexpected boo's but as well the feeling of dread which makes you not to proceed thinking something that may happen. This is done by a mix of enviroment and sounds as well as making the player think something is there. This to me would make a great horror game. I also think the player should feel as he is there so it would need to be first person I think to immerse the player greatly. This is part of my idea of a good horror game/ mod thats what I plan to achieve with my mod.

Where is the novedex homepage haven't heard of this physics engine.

To be honest this is first Resident Evil mod that i have seen that looks good. Good luck on getting the final product done it looks good.

I personally don't like the mod but you can tell the amount of work they have put into it is far more than any other hl2 mod at them moment. So even if I don't enjoy it. It's a well deserved award congrats guys.

cool idea but only thing that worries me is many games have tried to recreate the golden eye feel and all have failed. So I wish you luck and hope someone does it right.

Ok i know there will be another post soon with concept art and all that good stuff but it was just a tiny eye candy but i see what you are saying.

Also have you even read the story its no where near cs only reason that you get that gun because SWAT Teams use it in real life its not like we can ignore it. This is no teamplay single player mod you work mostly alone most you get is like Barneys were they help you for only a while.

it is nothing near cs you wont even get to use this gun more than twice because it will be low on ammo when you recieve it and then your done with the gun after that
