I went ahead and installed a second copy of warband on this computer so that I could have mods for the later version of the game work better as well as WSE ones like this. I seemed to have screwed up somewhere along the way. When walking around scenes, be they sieges or taverns, the game stutters and freezes for a few seconds at a time over and over again, making it near impossible to actually move around and play. I suspect this has something to do with the version, as, despite triple-checking that I had, in, fact, moved the modified exe into tthe warband folder, the game launcher claims to be version 1.174. Help pls

No luck, I'm afraid. it still crashes after a texture fails to load and items turn completely black. Perhaps I did it wrong? I'm just supposed to place the files in the textures folder for BNW, right?

Is there any way to fix the crashes involved in the item menu? I really look forward to being able to make my custom troop trees, but it keeps crashing there.

The Germans are already included. Swadia went Nazi. Also, the ideology of each faction doesn't really seem to affect who they go to war with. I saw fascist Swadia go to war with the fascist Rhodoks. At the same time, the red Vaegirs and the red Khergits were killing each other. There will be plenty of wars to keep you entertained!

I got irritated by the original reckoning with the permadeath and injuries. In a mod where people are shooting each other, it just wasn't fun to me. I hope you add an option to turn those things off.

I've suggested this mod to all my friends. It was plenty good before, but the new update really improved things a lot. Keep at it! This is basically the most unique mod for Warband.I like how it's more than just wacky though. The many building options and the orders breathe some much needed new life into Warband's bare bone's kingdom management. This mod is very surprisingly deep in content.

So you probably already have the factions all figured out, but on the off chance that you feel like adding a new one, why not base a country off of Augusto Pinochet's Chile? It wouldn't be in the right time period, sure, but I think it fits the political cartoon motif very well. It would be the game's only real extremist capitalist faction. The capitalist states now are all democratic, so throwing a market-oriented dictatorship with anti-communist purges would add a little more nuance into this world. The Chile analogue could be the arch-nemesis and neighbor of the San Guevarans.If nothing else, I hope you give us a prussian style uniform with a cape and a cool hat so we can make this faction ourselves.

Helvetians were a tribe of alpine Celts living around modern Switzerland before the Roman conquests. Their migrations into Gaul were used as an excuse for Caesar's intervention and conquest. I think this mod's Helvetians are more based on Austria, given the "brother" comment with the Swadians and the outdated equipment. REVERSE ANSCHLUSS INBOUND

I'm not the biggest fan of the tanks. They're usually just the last annoying thing to deal with at the end of the fight(being so slow that they miss most of the battle). Regardless, I still really think you've done a great job here and I eagerly await some Confederate upgrades. Also, Byzantium is cool as hell, although the militia units lack textures on their sabers. #MakeGreeceGreatAgain

Hey I've been playing the mod some more and I thought I'd point out a few things to be helpful. Maybe you can work these into the next release?

1. The Confederates, historically speaking, should have cavalry in their rosters. I know it's an alternate world and everything, but it just seemed odd to me to not see any horses at all. One of the reasons why the Southern states fought as well as they did in the opening stages of the war was the superior Southern cavalry. Dixie was less industrialized and less urbanized than the North, making horse travel more important through the vast rural countryside and giving the South an advantage in riders that would not be overcome by the Union until much later in the war where the sheer volume of replacable Northern riders won the day.

2. One of the German melee-only units is called a "Jager". Since Jagers were renowned as marksmen, that seems kind of odd. Maybe the "German Sharpshooter" units should be renamed to "Jagers" and these pole-axe guys be named something else? "Landsknechts" would be a good fit, given how this North German Federation faction has absorbed most of the old HRE. It would fit with the mix of old and new Germanic themes.

I hope my observations can be helpful. I've really enjoyed this mod and I look forward to seeing your next update.

I have to disagree with the idea of the modders waiting to release stuff. It's better for them to release what they have as soon as they can. That way the players can see constant progress and not have to fear yet another mod dying in the ether. The fans of Blood and Steel, for instance, waited for years and years and got next to nothing. This way produces more winners than your idea of waiting, because those who just want to play something, even if it is unfinished, can have their fun, while those who opt to wait for the finished product still can wait.

I hope you guys can get balance to make more sense eventually. As it stands, a lot of units are way better in their earlier forms. This is especially visible in the Austrian tree, where an infantry unit goes from 6 powerstrike and 9 ironflesh down to like 1 and 2 with a marginal proficiency upgrade with their muskets. Sure, they shoot and reload a little bit faster with their newly earned 20 skill points, but losing that ironflesh reduces the likelihood of surviving getting shot once greatly and the loss of powerstrike makes fighting cavalry off much more difficult for them. Also, are bayonets planned in the future? It's kinda funny seeing everyone swordfighting in the 1860s, lol
