It just crashes when i try to fight battles

I have played a few hours in this mod so far. The expansion eastwards is impressive with how it diversifies the game play, and makes increased challenge by having a play needing pacification of the far reaches to have them prosper.
I am excited to see the map changes that will come with the next update.
