So, should we expect this to put roughly the same amount of stress on a PC as Crysis 3, or are you guys ramping up the amazingness factor even farther than that?

SOOOOOOOOOO Stoked to see an entire RPG done by you guys, but at the same time disappointed there wasn't some way to beat the living **** out of WB and proceed to fix that bug :S
Everything is good but your GPU. I'd expect you to be skating by on very low detail with that (emphasis on skating). Get a new one with at least 1GB of VRAM and that's (preferably) twice as fast core and shader wise.
I wouldn't think you need to spend quite as much as what Anglachel is suggesting (Unless they use tons of high-res textures and LOD-textures in the mod), as I have a Radeon HD6570 and can run Skyrim with the HD2K texture mod, improved flora, and FXAA tool installed and still pull out 30 fps with smooth gameplay.
But it'd probably be for the best to get something in that price range anyway.

One side note though, You guys are putting the Dead Marshes and Emyn Muil in Rohan?
I thought they were considered part of Gondor?
From what I understood, they were just working on color tweaks and such for the stones now.
It's still awesome anyway so it doesn't matter that much. lol
No, you can't just cut a little part out, it has to be changed up (key, removing parts or adding parts in, etc.) to a significant degree. Simply removing one little bit doesn't cut it.
But regardless, It seems like everyone would rather have JUST the custom made music, so it doesn't matter :P
Well that's why I said "arranged differently". The team music guy(s) could take the work and change some pieces and move some parts around, so that it's still similar, but it's not the same. That way it would be legal, just like any other arrangement of a popular work :)
It was just an idea though.
Is there anyway you guys could incorporate some of the music from the movie along with the music you already plan to use (not that the music that's already being put together is bad; It's awesome! I just think it would really add to the experience). Maybe having each set arranged differently somewhat so there couldn't be any issues legally?

Amazing! So far, Your guys' work makes LOTRO look like a hopeless attempt at portraying Middle Earth (And I absolutely adore LOTRO). I can't wait until it finally gets finished! or at least the Rohan release is complete!

Tolkien describes Huorns as much more tree like than ents. More like a tree that can move, than a tree-giant-thing.

I might only be remembering it from the movies, but even in the books, wasn't Helms Deep described as being built from fairly large-ish stones?
If so, those look kinda small :P
But I wouldn't be surprised If I'm wrong lol. Regardless, all of your guys' work is absolutely amazing! I can't wait till its done! :D
