Hi, I can confirm this bug does exist, also there appears to be an error in one of the UI file lines, or even something missing. Where the battle UI is bugged when you choose to control an AI reinforcement army... if I check not to control them the problem doesn't appear. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!

One of the best mods for Victoria II, if not the best currently.

Enough options and tweaks for many sandbox campaigns.

Big thank you to the team!

I am happy you choose to use these superior campaign textures. :)

The Battle AI is okay, however, the CAI was lacking aggression and being active overall, hopefully, the new CAI will do the job.

Time to get testing, I was just about to begin a new campaign with all the new updates lucky me.

Hi, I like the idea and current state of the mod so far. Is there any reason why the two Japanese factions are missing almost all building options - mines, ports goverment buildings etc... Do I need to activate script or any other specific condition? Also, many settlements on the world map have wrong religios buiilding or wrong religion for the whole region. And I am sure you are aware of the UI bugs, missing textures etc...
Thank you and your team for the work!

Hello again, after 100hrs+ of playinng and testing different things in the mod I have to say this is one of the most complete, challenging and fun projects for Empire Total War. I do like the changes to the buildings, economy and campaign map, however where the mod clearly stands out would be BAI. Especially land battles where every unit has a purpose and if not used properly can loose you the skirmish, naval battles aren't easy as well. I would recommend people getting into the mod to start playing on Normal or even Easy battle difficulty to get a good grasp on how human like the AI reacts.
So far no crashes, although I have to point that one of the new build chains, the Magistrate that suppose to unlock the Coaching Inn construction isn't working and sadly Coaching Inn chain becomes unconstructible, would love to see that fixed in later update.
Keep up the great work and thank you!

Hello, great progress on the mod so far. However, there are few things that can use extra work. For ex. the Bulgarian flag for on the campaign map and the UI are
different and both inaccurate. Even if ther Campaign map flag is ''passable'' the
UI one is from Novgorod... Could that be fixed, please? Also, 1/3 if not more of the Bulgarian roster consist of Russian troops, and even though that is somewhat true for the period, it feels weird that you can just recruit so many Eastern troops. And thirdly the 90% of Russian names that are generated for Bulgarian, generals, princesses, spies, bishop etc...

Please do let me know if you could help out, I do have have some files and proper flags for the time, however I am missing the full knowledge with the sd. conventer tool to make it work. Additionally, I have plenty of Bulgarian names that can be rng generated.
Hopefully you decide to contact me on discord: Brank#3890

Hello and thank you for uploading v1.5, however after installing the game is runnning normally and that is great. But I think I have done something wrong or missing a file, because the only English in the whole mod were the voice acting.
Please, do let us know if we have to do something additional or specific to translate the game to English, so we can properly enjoy this great mod.

Best regards

Hello, I like the concept for the mod, however there is still some work the be done I suppose, such as: Removing English and French napoleonic navies, allowing each and every country to declare wars (I suppose, they are locked behind historical events or just a bug?) Also, the morole of the enemy armies is a bit too high like 3 times higher then your own. I would say 2x would be okay for normal gameplay.

Best regards, keep up the good work!

Hello

I do appriciate the effort and the idea for this mod, but it isn't really historical unfortunatelly. Just imagine if there was Second Kingdom of Bulgaria
added would make the mod complete. And I know about the faction limit cap,
however the importance that this country has on the Balkan reagion during 13th
century can not be overlooked. Eitherway good work, hope more people will give
this a chance.

Hello, well for me personally I tested it in almost all of the cenarios, when I attack with Heavy Cavalry or without, when I get attack by AI with their Heavy Cavalry, which you can't control what
they build... So the issue is quite big, you know playing only
Auto-Resolve battles is not much fun :)

Most of Brandernburg heave cav. Polish Heavy Cav etc...

Hello and good day!

I have been testing the mod and overall looks decent, I see the potential that
one day it could be one of the best for Empire.

With the new update, unfortuanatelly each time when you try to play manual battle
the game stopps/crashes for sure you are aware of that.

One other thing is that Each turn, your treasurer gets inflacion +3%... even if
you are low on funds. I like the whole in depth administation put in the Empire.
I hope you can come across of a fix for that.

Countinue the hard work and wish you all the best!

After reading about The Future of the Mod, I have to say I am pleasantly surprised, that in the next 7-8 months we could be updating the mod with Roar of Conquest: The Late Middle Ages. These are great news, I just hope you will be able to manage between real life work and work on the mod.
As always, if you need additional information or help on specificly Bulgaria and The Balkans in early 14th century I would be more than happy to help.

Hello, I download the mod and visually was great, historically probably the most accurate map after Tsardoms,I wish I involved myself in battles and diplomacy. There is much to be discovered, 17th/18th century Europe was very significant period in the History. I am sure there some interesting scripts and events. However, the biggest reason I couldn't really start my journey was the language barrier.
Once transleted this mod has the potential to be one of the top 3 for 2021.
I did notice that the names of cities and characters are translated, but all the
traits and units/units discription and additional information aren't.
Unfortunately, I am unable to help since my understanding of Polish is very basic. So I wish you good luck with the translation. Hopefully, in the near future there will be more fully translated version.

Thank you for your work.
Best regards!

Hello, I like the way this mod has been shaping up and the progress so far. Something that is on my mind for some time is: Would it be possible The Kingdom of Bulgaria to be added? It is historically accurate as Second Bulgarian Kingdom apears at 1185 this change will bring some more flavour to the Balkans. I am asking this since you mention that you are planning on adding 1-2 more aditional factions. I and probably many more would be greatful if this change is possible in the future.

Thank you in advance!

Keep up the great work.

Hello, I like the way this mod has been shaping up and the progress so far. Something that is on my mind for some time is: Would it be possible Kingdom of Bulgaria to be added? Even though slightly inacurate historically (1878 The Independence of Bulgaria) this change will bring some flavour to the Balkans during the Victoria Era.

Hello Joe, I would like to say thank you for the mod and the balance changes.

However I have one question, I have noticed that it's not allowing me to upgrade from castle to fortress or town to large town. I did check descr_settlement_mechanics and there everything looked normal there:

</factor_modifiers>
<population_levels>
<!-- city -->
<level name="village" base="200" upgrade="400" min="400" max="1500"/>
<level name="town" base="200" upgrade="500" min="400" max="4500"/>
<level name="large_town" base="200" upgrade="600" min="400" max="9000"/>
<level name="city" base="200" upgrade="700" min="400" max="18000"/>
<level name="large_city" base="200" upgrade="800" min="400" max="36000"/>
<level name="huge_city" base="200" min="400" max="72000"/>
<!-- castle -->
<level name="moot_and_bailey" base="200" upgrade="300" min="200" max="1500"/>
<level name="wooden_castle" base="200" upgrade="400" min="400" max="3500"/>
<level name="castle" base="200" upgrade="500" min="400" max="9000"/>
<level name="fortress" base="200" upgrade="600" min="400" max="17500"/>
<level name="citadel" base="200" upgrade="700" min="400" max="20000"/>
</population_levels>
</root>

So my question is how can I activate the city/castle upgrades once the population needed is reached? I understand that you might have locked the settlements for a reason, however I am wondering if there something I can do to start upgrading them just like the unmodded Medieval Total War. (which file should I change?)

Thank you in advance keep up the great work!

Hello to the Creator and the Team involved, I would be happy to get some answers and clarity on few topics.

First of all, the proggress of the mod is astonishing, keep up the work!

-Bugs: The bug with artillery, when AI units are behind a barricade and they just die when passing through, e.g. Campaign of Lord John shows that on multipule occasions.

-Could it be possible for spacing between units for AI, so they are not in disadvantage when engaging human player (since the human player would almost always be in spread formation)? This fix might actually help AI vs Human battles.

-Will there be Co-Op campaign possible?

-What is the exact difference between each difficulty level? Morale, Damage or something else, curios more for the battlefield, of course there would be changes to the campaign difficulty I would guess?

-Is Great Britain involved enough in the war now? Not just the blockades and occasional naval battles, do they protect Belgium, France or even invade when possible?

-How well is the economy balanced even for the medium/small powers on the map would they become relevant at some point (late game, if not dead)?
One way to do that is to give me them better units, technology, and industry early on...

-Is there any more work planned for Battle AI, from what I can see there have been changes, however I am not sure if they are enough?
Do your mod testers have positive feed back and what could possible be done? For example if you were to pick Ironman difficulty would that help in some way to Battle AI (not just higher morale)? And what else does that difficulty (Ironman) changes?

I do like what your team has done with the Naval side of the war, quite impressive.

As usual, if you need a campaign tester or any other help do let me know.

Best regards,

-Brank

Hello, I have been enjoying the mod for some time now, however something that bothers me is the requirements for an upgrading a Large City and Fortress. After reaching the needed Population necessary cap I am not allowed to build the Walls for the Large City/ Fortress = Level 4 Settlement. Are there any hiden requirements or something additional I need to do? Do you have a any idea current campaign is with England newest patch.

Hello, great mod have been enjoying it for countless hours. So far I have encoutered one kind of annoying bug, everytime when I go to Wood Cutter's Hut and hover over Upgrade button for Sawmill I get instant error and kicked out of the game. What it says: ''Open file failed: \images\screens\PlayWnd\economy\icons\buildings\sawmill.bmp'' I believe that the image is missing and that is why I can't build it etc..

So I was wondering is there a way to find that file or would you bother to contact me or straight up make a small patch fix if it is not too much work?

Thanks in advance!
