Wow, don't get why the psycho moderators running the ZDoom forums are trying this hard but it isn't working.

A good mod that would be nice frame of reference for you would probably be a RPG Lite mod called Gun Bonzai which might give you some ideas on what your looking for since it's compatible with any monster mod or weapons mod.

What I would like to see is a mod menu option that allows the player to turn on or off the extra weapons. Weapons don't blend to well with mods like Guncaster.
So I've seen, Always loved playing War of Attrition mod. Can't wait to see how that turns out.

Question, could you put your Custom Oldskool Entries mod up on moddb? I've been having trouble finding links for it.
I know I'm responding to this old message, but iirc there was something that added Oldskool Campaign menu support for Illhaven and a wide selection of others (CustomOldSkoolEntriesV112.zip was the latest file I think.) But I have yet to be able to find anything other then a mention of the file's name in question and a dead link that was posted on UnrealSP.org's forums about it. Hope you have better luck finding it. Btw, that oldskool addon was made by Lightning_Hunter iirc.

Oh you mean the same TES 2 that fans are porting to Unity and even though it's pre-alpha they are still making mods for it that aren't just Hi-Res sprites (Convenient Clock, Tedious Travel, Warm Ashes, and the Archeologists Guild mod to name a few.) k.
I noticed that the screen effects for the mod's power ups don't scale correctly on a 16:9 aspect ratio. Any plans on fixing that?
