Well to be more clear, this is not how any of our playable maps will look or feel. It was more or less just an exercise for our mapper, Dementei, but also so we could show case some of our models. At any rate, the maps we plan for the future will most likely have more displacement variability, and the landscapes themselves will be smaller so-to-speak; meaning that the landscapes themselves will be mostly forest, with a clearing for the settlement and actual playable area... of course we will be sure to feature coastal levels with grassy dunes, river banks, and bogs and marshes, etc.
He certainly isn't the biggest dude around but I'd say he's fairly muscled with decent-sized shoulders and back, but he just doesn't have a thick frame (due to his model) so it's safe to say that he's just a very lean dude.

Well this is all exercising, there hasn't really been any real map planning yet.
More detail will go into further endeavors once we have all the proper models and textures, this is all very new.
I mean we're giving a preview while we gather our resources to keep you inspired.
But yes, this map is very wide open, but so are landscapes themselves.
unfortunately, we won't be featuring anything of that sort, but we will have a lot of war drums and horns... there is a theme song in the works that should be expected by christmas. Register on our forum because you're one bad Viking SoB :P

Doors that slide up are dumb, in theory, because they would have to interefere with whatever is "above", in the construction of the vessel. Doors that split sideways, would be better to achieve a "futuristic" feel, because all they do is slide inside of the walls.

I can assure you, this is in no way, how any of our maps will actually play, this is purely an exercise.
