I'm pretty sure I could do it (except for the texture part, I am not familiar with texture editing in any way). You could just hook it up via a RotationalBundle and have it use the PIPitch Input channel like the elevators on the plane already.
I'll try that when I get my other gun models fixed up. I made a few model promises for some mod teams that I need to hold up. But if I have sucess with the SU27MKK I'll definitely post some shots.

Did you install the BF2 tools for GMAX that come with the BF2Editor? You need those to import the .bundledmesh file.
I have but the tools don't work for importing since they were made for max and not gmax. Unless I am doing it wrong? I've tried several tool versions including POE tool sets and 'hot fix' for the tools, but they all seem to get an error in the importing process.
You need GMAX 12.
Before you install the tools, make sure you deleted every single file from the old tools, or this will cause issues.

This download actually has less functionality than the other ones. Am I supposed to use this one and then install a poe tool set? Because this tool set alone has no import function.
No, this is the correct tools. I only know my way around 3DS Max, so I'm not much of a help here.
