there's a certain problem that makes radio comm isn't working when using it with dynamic indication mod, I still don't know what causes this.

Are you also using dynamic indication mod made by Leeberty?

this isn't a basic tutorial, this is very detail, very helpful for beginner. Also a lot of vanilla weapons kill display name is referring to a variable inside localization file, same goes for maps name and description

all commo rose contained inside these files located in
Menu_Server\HUD\HudSetup\Communication

HudElementsSquadLeaderComm.con

while the textures are packed inside atlases located in Menu_Client\Atlas

BF4CommRose0.dds
BF4CommRose1.dds
BF4CommRose2.dds
BF4CommRose3.dds

the handler located inside Menu_Server\Atlas\BF4CommRose.tai and
Menu_Server\Atlas\BF4CommRose.tac

and it loaded by Menu_Server\Atlas\AtlasList.con

by copying those files, you should be good

Navigate to Menu_Server.zip\HUD\HudSetup folder, open HudSetupMain.con file.

search line
run "HudElementsFatigue.con"

put "rem" in front of it
rem run "HudElementsFatigue.con"

it doesn't work, I excluded my battlefield 2 folder from my windows defender and the logo appear then it just shut itself off.

I also already disable firewall for it.

hi Leeberty i manage to create a .fnt file and convert it into bf2 font file, but after converting, the dds texture of the font is empty(0kb) and can't be opened by photoshop.

seems like the issue caused by nvcompress.exe that doesn't work, tried with other .tga file and have the same result.

any idea to fix this? thanks

Hi zukov , this problem occur due to my custom AtlasList that overwrite mod's original AtlasList. To fix it, follow this step

1) Open your backup folder and find menu_server.zip,
2) Open the menu_server using Winrar and extract the Atlas Folder into folder you liking,
3) Open the AtlasList.con inside the Atlas Folder and add these lines.

hudManager.addTextureAtlas "AGM_MinimapIcon.tai"
hudManager.addTextureAtlas "BF4CommRose.tai"
hudManager.addTextureAtlas "BF4AwardIcon.tai"
hudManager.addTextureAtlas "BF3_Buttons.tai"
hudManager.addTextureAtlas "KitIcons.tai"
hudManager.addTextureAtlas "General.tai"
hudManager.addTextureAtlas "MemeAtlas.tai"

4) Save it. then copy the AtlasList.con to your mod,
Open the Menu_server.zip inside your mod and open Atlas Folder,
Drag the modified AtlasList.con that you just saved into the Atlas folder, that should overwrite it.

Now, you should good to go, test it again and contact me again if there's any further issue.

Unfortunately i was forgot how to fix that, and my BFeditor now broken

I assume the way to fix it by installing required directX from battlefield 2 itself, which you could find if you download a cracked battlefield 2, those cracked version tend to have required software to work properly

i found called ranks.con in the menu_server, does that do something? Like the points needed for promoted. or is the points need for promoted controlled by python files in gamemode folder?
