Meh... Why should copying be a problematic? Anything is rarely "original". Even Binding Of Isaac is copy of classic game. I believe it's all about execution. Put your heart and energy into the creation. Make it shine. Make it lovely. Then I believe people will still love it. You are not unique, but it's ok because you are still awesome.
