What the ****? Doom 3 my have been released before HL2 but the gravity gun has been a ******* concept by valve 6 years before the release of hl2.

The mod is about to change quite a bit. After some suggestions from Vangor we have decided to add a lot more to the mod than we had first intended to. More information will be posted later along with some media. :)

A char modeler and concept artist. We need to get some knight models ready for alpha release. Would be nice if we could get someone who is skilled enough to model a horse.

By popular demand a town will be added to the game. You can at any time leave the games (Unless you are in a match) and go to down to get drinks buy armour, horses, weapons ect. I have started work on a town and have already completed the armoury :). The town media will be released soon!

I dunno why the thumbnails are black, its being stupid at the moment. As for the arena, Thanks, I made that as just a rough draft and will make it look a lot better later on. We are hoping to add royal seats and peasant seats. Also we are going to make a castle model to go around the map and have archer gaurds standing on top looking out for enimies and such just like in the movies :). overall being as this is a small mod, we are hoping to make everything as aesthetically pleasing and very detailed. Thanks for your post!

We are planning to add other competetions now that we have the peoples opinion. As for the wondering town part...thats an awesome idea. We had already planned a spectating mode in which you are an actual person in the stands and you can make bets, move around to different seats and stuff of that nature. So why not take your winnings and go to town? There prolly wont be much pointless gaming in the town but maybe some armour and weapons shop. The only problem with this is that the game is mostly multiplayer so I dont know if we can have the settings saved from server to server. However players could return to the same server they were in before and keep thier stats.

During build mode you can put an invisible box around the flag. The box would have a spring effect on it and when you go to lay something up against it, it repells the object in the opposite direction...the only problem I can see with this is people running into the box and getting shot across the map into a wall...you could however make the elastic part of the box effect only prop_physics entities. That is just my theory.

Wow... You could have stopped with the first release of garry's mod and i would have been happy...now im just overjoyed!! Thank you garry for giving me purpose in my life!

Sorry, but I think the mod is going to die. I tried and made all the models but it wont do much good unless the rest of the team will work for it. It was good while it lasted and I wished it would have worked out but we are the only ones left working on it. If we can get more people togather we might be able to salvage it however. Plus the mod idea has already been done as I found out earlier. A game was made for the tourque engine called block land and uses the same exact concept we had for our mod and its extremely popular.

Dont worry the mod is no were near dead :). We have just taken a break for a while and are now working harder than ever on it.
