This must be the latest reply of all time. I am terribly sorry for that. After restarting and redoing all maps that where present in the mod, my computer decided to commit suicide. I had no backups and I lost every piece of data that I had. I posted a annoucement of this the day it happened but it never made it to the modpage. I was devasted and demoralized by this and decided to leave it be, it was quite a mouthfull to begin with. I was active here and there throughout other communities but dropped completely around the end of 2011. I am only now partially coming back into the modding scene with smaller projects that are actually doable. Sorry yet again :(

As alot of people here i have holidays and all my 3 weeks of holiday have been spend in Spain with my girlfriend so nothing has been developed since the 26th june. We all want it, and we all need it. It has done good to get away a little.
I will however return back to denmark the 17th July wich is this saturday. In the meantime i have collected ideas for the mod and also musical pieces that could come handy.

I know i know but Source SDK with its bugs kinda block me from doing so.

Its the biggest pain since i crashed into a car with my scooter.
I need the 3d camera cause my screen is filled with wireframe so i cant see where or what im doing

Its not a direct link into the HL2 universe, its all fictional just like the way the entire storyline ends wich has nothing to do with half life ofcourse.

Its set in the same city but in a new way.

Dont worry. it has a good reason why it looks so untouched :) you will find out when you play

By chapters i mean the entire storyline.

The Game itself will have multiple chapters ofc.

Each chapter in the storyline is a Mod itself.

Im working on getting the permissions from valve, if not then my friend Kosai can model me sandbags and hedgehogs. Its nothing im really breaking my head about right now.

For the time being im just working on getting the storyline and basic mapping done so its a stable and OK mod.

Sorry jjawinte but these are all the OLD screens of the mod, im currently updating all the maps i made to a more detailed bunch of maps that i will be more happy with.

Once that is done i wil finish the mod itself:)

Im glad to see that you made a second one and i might try it out aswell.
Once again the weapons are cheesy but it ads to the charm of your mods.

The mod got dropped cause my old acc got hacked and appearently deleted idk exactly but i have decided to CPR this old beef and bring it back to life again.

I have all the old files in my new Computer(Yayz! :D)

So yes, HL2:EX is back on track:) Just give me some time to scramble it all together and set it up for the New Source engine.

I will reedit pretty much everything cause personally im not fully happy with everything i did cause it got rushed. But 4 years of mapping should do the job for this too. Its gonna be some work but i will try my best do deliver a small one man project.

It would be nice if you could make hospital props(like beds)since im a failure in modelling.
Also since im the only one on the team right now(kosai has quited for school)i can coordinate it alot easier than teams wich are spread all over the world.

Its fictional like i said in the desciption. Its part of a new storyline that tells what happened between hl1 and hl2 in a whole new way, so it doesnt have to be right after the original storyline.
Oh and the portals where made with the citadel so more troops could enter.

1# the starship im talking about is in the orbit of space. Thats where the combine forces are shot with pods down to earth. The citadel isnt builded (or landed) yet. 2# Mapping is kinda my think its easier to cooridnate with just me making it, especially in mapchanges with are pretty hard to make right. Since im a complete failure in modeling(sight) it would be nice if you could model hospital stuff like beds and stuff(yes im planning to make a hospital like in ep1):D

I really didnt like the glow of the eyes from the beginning so i deleted them. Though you are right that they look plane but they fit alot better in dark areas.
