Point 1 - actually player is supposed to shoot the hanging thing to get the boxes down, but I guess I underestimated the distance to just jump over besides it :) hah
Point 2 - that was just me playing around with scripted_sequences and getting more used to that so I can further use them better in the future :D I am still very noob on scripted_sequence and other "advanced features" but I decides to make some silly sequences to get my abilities up :) it's just supposed to look funny
Point 3 - Yeah, I obviously was out of inspiration and went back to my childhood in the 90s and recreated the rooftop from top of my head :D

Actually its probably far from my first maps since I made my first maps in 1999 and made a few over the years since then, but without internet I had very little ways to learn about mapping and all in depths how everything works :)
But nowadays with Youtube guides I have a renewed interest in this and have since my first Superlevel made more and better stuff :)
Superlevel 3 is my flagship map for the moment :)

I dont know how to make the gate only break with satchel charges, that was sort of an "objective" :) thats why there was charges to find and they would break the gate. Not sure how to make it specific for explosions...
I put all visual effort into the beginning and then I was like "job done" and decided to screw it up.
I'm still learning and put out short projects meanwhile :)
I updated the map by moving the bath further away xD

I "speedmapped this" with no plans, every section was done spontaniously and as fast as I could, I didnt know what came next, it was all whatever came to mind from one section to the next :)
But yeah of course its messy, I wouldnt pretend it wasnt :D
I'm still learning Jackhammer and this time I learnt how to make locked droors and func_tracktrains
Sometimes I try to do more visually effort maps (like "Superlevel 2") but this was not it :)

But its cool that you could break the map in untintended ways, ESPECIALLY the main goal. I tried jumping once and decided "eh, cant jump over" and guess I should have tried a couple of times extra :D

I just made a small update:
Where the security guard "sleeps" theres supposed to be a security card, but it fell through the func_breakable table. So I changed to a solid and now it stays on top and is visible. :) haha

Quite fun map but damn difficult in the beginning if not knowing what to do xD
This was quite entertaining but there's some bugs like items falling through shelves and stuff. I made some stupid comment about shotgun not feeling logical in that place, in retrospect I was just talking out of my *** in my first video playing through HL maps from MODDB, don't take that too seriously.
I will make more playthroughs and hopefully get used to doing so and be more coherent. Haha!
