true.. my bad ;D
Dude please include a normal text Installation Guide.. This video guide is retarded
I bet it's a screen resolution issue.. try meddling with different screen resolutions
Before installing please read the description
Dobra.
Guys.. It's been RAM'S fault all along.. the runtime error was caused by mod consuming way more RAM than the core game could incorporate (especially during big battles). What you gotta do is to download a fix from here:
Then patch up the exe file in the directory using this fix
NOW IT'S FIXED! No more runtime errors! (Hopefully)
Now the game utilizes 4GB of RAM instead of 2GB and should be stable from now on..!
Have fun fellow cowboys!
All thanks to Rennat !!!!
Try the fix proposed by Rennat from the top of the comment section to fix it
I bet on hardware issues. As I mentioned earlier I haven't done any changes to the core of the mod or it's properties.
I wish. But I lack the programming skill. So far this is only a music and texture overhaul.
May be connected to your graphics settings. I never got that kind of error myself.
The error is the same as in the original BECAUSE IT IS AN ORIGINAL I never messed with any core components of the game.. I only swapped music and textures and found no issues related to that. Try the fix proposed by Rennat from the top of the comment section. Cheers.
Same error happens to me.. it's the original mod's fault try the fix Rennat is suggesting on the top of the comment section
This is THE ORIGINAL alongside the original errors :) As I mention a gorillion times before I haven't changed any core components of the game.
Even I didn't know about it.. Thanks a lot!
Sorry for the trouble man. True the exe file may mess up the game activation I haven't thought about it previously.. I myself just make sure I always have my serial key saved in a notepad somewhere. Cheers.
As I said in the instruction. The folder with Mount&Blade; original game is required for it to run properly. For the text to show up properly YOU NEED to replace font_data.xml file in the original game's Data folder as well as to replace all 373 textures. No other way around it I'm afraid. You can always back the original font file and textures separately on your disc and copy them back once you want your old interface and font back. Cheers.
I haven't tweaked anything in the scripts or core files so I hope it's not my fault :X But I'll look into it. If it happens more often and on other occasions, let me know via inbox.
No problem man! I hope you'll have fun playing it. I only wish I could add more.. Who knows, maybe I'll put some more time into it and make it happen. For now I'm playing it myself and waiting for new ideas to come :D
Does the error say something about "buffer render"? If so I'm afraid it's a bug inherited from the original 1866. It's always been there. I managed to reduce the frequency of it happening by using the Mount&Blade;: Enhanced version of the game (which is included in the zip file by the way) but it may still cause some trouble occasionally ;/
Hey! I haven't changed anything in the core of this mod. It stays the way it was originally created for now. I wish it was more historically accurate and had some more historical value like genuine wild west heroes like Jesse James etc in it but for now it's just the visual and musical overhaul. Cheers!
