Scrin - hate, hate, hate!
Nod - not tragically but they could do it better and as Kane's Elite Guard or something
GDI - like, but it doesn't look better than normal in some maps :P
These skins would have worked better as something a unit got when it reached heroic. Ingame they are rather "meh", but would be suitable for making a powerful unit visually distinct.
I have the Kane Edition but the skins are not working even when I am running the vanilla game by clicking play straight from the launcher. My game is patched to 1.09. I had never even seen these skins until now and had the game 5 years! Anybody knows how I fix it?
I would like to think that the white color GDI is their commando skin, the red NOD is Black Hand Skin, and the Green Scrin is Traveler skin as it mostly change the air unit.
Personally I hate them. I found really weird the Green Scrin units and the Red Nod units.

I have been looking for the solution and found images showing a checkbox to Enable Kane Edition content. My options menu doesn't have that box.
