yes, mandator is 7.4 km, subjugator is 10km (in the mod). probably not well, as the subjugator is meant to take out battlecruiser+ sized ships in 1v1 scenarios. that said, I'm not sure how fast J has it coded so maybe it could dodge the ion blast, but I doubt that very much.

mostly the engine section because I didn’t like the bellator’s rounded housing. after I changed it it seemed like too big a change to keep calling it the bellator so we decided since there is no official design that it would be the mandator 2

the rear of the ship is redesigned. of course, the majority of the ship is identical to the bellator. my headcanon is that the empire took this and uparmored it into the bellator

He’s going to use LOD to keep that exact detail when the player’s camera is close to the ship, the further away LOD’s may have baked texture versions of that on lower poly meshes but I’m not sure. Either way I think he knows what he’s doing.

Get doesn't do hardpoints for the engines on most of the ships for the mod. Some ships do have two shield generators (the Veragitor) but it doesn't really add functionality. Also... those are scanners with shield generators built in. The main shielding is around the rest of the hull and inside the ship

Yes, this is true, but that’s because of technological advancements made over the 40ish years between the end of CW and the building of the allegiances; thus, it doesn’t quite make sense given the era.

Regardless of what you choose to go with, this is still the best mod in the game. And fantastic work again on the Rothana ship.

An allegiance just isn’t anywhere close to the strength of a subjugator. Sure, it’s powerful, but the subjugator is a heavy cruiser/borderline battlecruiser plus the ion cannons, while the allegiance is still in the star destroyer range. If we’re saying the republic had impstar prototypes, why not a prototype Bellator?

Or, perhaps, add the variant of the Legacy class with the two ion cannons on the *wings*... Not like the subjugator, so not strong enough to disable ships, but to drain out shields and have lots of firepower (legacy has like 16 main batteries IIRC—8 on top and 8 on bottom).

I have to agree, and I hate the mandator... I’d suggest again that you scale this Rothana battlecruiser to be a battlecruiser (~3k would probably do) and arm it accordingly—although I do quite like the current stats you have for it. It’s new and good looking and fits well with both super ships and the republic.

EDIT: Scratch all of this, I like it at 2k, but see below for other idea.
