Yeah it was also a bug, an event gone wrong. You can disable it for now by deleting the events/ultimate - flavour file. This'll fix it (but also remove the Second Empire event from France)

Delete saves. The whole Ultimate folder in your Documents/Paradox folder.
I solved mine with letting the revolutions win, and after a while the multiple rebels (reactionaries, parlamentaries, scottih, irish, welsh, christian) weakened each other down, then I mobilized, recaptured the separated Wales, and united UK with the decision. Since then I still have to fight Christian, Parlamentarien and some nationalist rebels, but I can handle them mostly.
There will be one, there was already one, but got taken out. It'll probably be readded upon a later release. Right now they focus onto the 1604 campaign.
It is most likely the attrition. Happens to me aswell. I guess the attrition completely annihilates your unit.
Same with revolution. Or well, if I play well, and as soon as I can I create cassus bellis I can conquer most of the USA territory, but have no cores on them until I held them long enough. Although this is plausible, as it is alternate history, and in this alternate world USA never had those places as cores, some kind of decision or event would still be nice. Some purcheses, or larger area core creation.
Will every country that mas south or north italian as main culture have this event?
Looks nice, will that tab be only for pre-industrial techs?
I think craftmen working in factories is hardcoded.
I worked out mine aswell, fixed the mistakes I did. The only thing that is strange for me is the fact that after I added the new localization file, when I open up the game at the start date selection the start date names were replaced with the start name descriptions while I did not touch any of the other localization files. Otherwise my events work and so do my decsriptions...
Mistyped something, now fixed it. The only problem left is the fact if I click any of the options, I get what I want but also a blank, empty event box shows up, where you have to click ok. Not sure what causes this or how could I add some description to it.
How did you do it? I tried adding events with options but I failed aswell. What is the trick?
From 1604 till 99999 or whatever, but you won't get most of the scenario-specific events of the later scenarios.

Hey there. I would like to suggest some ideas, maybe your already thought about them, but I decided to put them out here for you to have a look at them.
First of all I thought about economy, firstly GM corps, with a decision/politics to ban them/let them be grown/support their growth, affecting farming efficiency and making people upset? Also what about fracking, which would improve oil production but also upset people.
Also I was thinking of, related to those two, including global warming, maybe some kind of nuclear winter if too many weapons are used and also some Green organizations/rebels/parties who would be mostly like the liberals.

Nope. It requires HoD, but there is no option for it in moddb as far as I know.
