May I ask why you re running the 32-bit version on 64-bit anyway? In any case, could you try this with LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/lib32/, then?
EDIT: Actually, never mind, I didn t see the blend model bit, slime is probably right then.

In case you re running pulseaudio, running it through padsp should fix it.
