I also played around with Jer's assault missile particle in the editor, and his Victory missile code. Needless to say, that 10 fps, and new missile model was worth it.
And yes, I'm aware the ships are on fire. I'm still playing around with the final rig.
EDIT: More ships, and more missiles spawned is not fun. That 2 fps though.

That's particles for you. You can have a bunch of high poly stuff on the field snd be fine, but a bunch of particles seem to destroy fps.
And I'd love to know why as well.
How did you have that ability of calling out fleet at once?
