I'm not very sure, I'm not that amazing with mac's, but I think it's something to do with expanding the application (un-rar doesn't expand i don't think)

You haven't read the summary right, you need stuffit expander, and you have to expand the 'Mac Build' with it. Then it should create the app for pokemon generations and will work (i know that if you don't do this you still get an app it just won't work). I have a mac so this works

If you have the launcher it should update automatically

I replied to another comment with the solution on page 1, basically download stuffit expander, and then instead of extracting Build Mac like you normally do with .rar files, expand it with stuffit expander (once downloaded it's self explanatory) and once it's done it should work.

Don't extract it like you normally would, instead when you download Mac Build also download stuffit expander for mac, open this app and when it says what app do you wish to expand click Mac build (and move it to a folder where you will find it) then you wait until it's done and it should work :)
