all the negative feedback? can't see where you got that impression. it's a playable demo (thanks for that btw, rare these days) of an in-development indie title. so, having played it i feel obligated to let the guy(s) behind it know what went through my head when i played it. the last thing on my mind was to hurt anyone's feelings.
re-reading it a couple of times i may be coming across a bit harsh, okay. in my defense, i'm german, this is not my first language.
so, I really just started the game 3 mins. ago but was immediately irritated by a couple things:
1. the motion blur is aggressive AF, needs to be optional IMO
2. the main menu is kinda unresponsive? i just kept pressing keyboard buttons and clicking stuff until the game started.
3. how did i turn the engine on? i dont know. i think it happened when i pressed esc for the in-game menu and then pressed esc again...?
4. standard controls ... if we are to use mouse look AND have a handbrake on space then why not use WASD as standard? makes much more sense IMO.
5. very aggressive mouse look re-centering while driving. to me, this is probably the worst thing about this game. feels like it wants to keep you from exploring stuff in this exploration-based game, if that makes any sense :)
that's it for now ;) I'll try alt-tabbing back into the game to see what it's actually about.
