This is looking great!
So you did do a cloud backup after all - but it was not where you thought ;-) Super news, waiting for this one with great interest.
Damn that you lost so much work. Hope you can get the new computer soon and continue with this project.
Just read your October 2021 update. Thank you for your dedication in keeping this project alive. Look forward to further updates.
Fantastic news - thanks for your hard work.
So pleased that the mod is continuing - really looking forward to this one.
This is beautifully made. As others have written, this would be fantastic wallpaper.
Think I have a bug. In the Rift Chapter, I cannot break the wall with the hole in it using any pickaxe. I've broken every breakable wall to this point (otherwise I could now have gotten so far into the game) but this will not break regardless of what I do. Loving the mod, so am very keen to finish. Suggestions please?
I looked back through the comments and noticed that long ago someone reported that they could not interact with the environment in the Rift section. Then the person was asked 'Was the music playing?' - so I checked my game again, and there is no music playing in the Rift at all.
I'm really looking forward to Year Zero (and this one too of course).
The Small Additions works as described - looks great - thank you!
I really like it when a small mod makes a big difference. I prefer this main menu background to the original. Thank you!
There seems to be a bug. I've watched walkthroughs to see if I'm doing something wrong and I'm not. It's the part where I need to break the wooden planks on the door with a hammer to access the Cistern Key. I'm unable to break the planks - doesn't matter where I hit the them, I receive this message: 'Cannot use this item this way'. Any suggestions please?
This is intriguing - keep up your great work!
Just read Development Diary #3 - the crosses are a really creative idea. Keep up your great work!
Great idea - have a look at the feedback for the mod 'Improved Lantern' - only a small change but very well received. Also, I discovered that my system was not powerful enough to have all the changes you implemented without some lagging issues, especially when loading other mods. So I've kept all your floor changes (these are really fantastic and make a huge difference to the game), anything re outdoors, and the carpets. I've tried pushing to include all furniture as well, but it's a step too far. Anyway, thanks again for your work.
I really like your work. Some of the changes are subtle, but others are much more obvious. I particularly love the more detailed floor - very nicely done! Sure some changes are missing (such as windows you can see through) but you have kept the original feel of the game by only changing textures, and it doesn't lag on my system. I'll be keeping this mod - thank you!
Sounds as if this mod is influenced by the incredible story 'At the Mountains of Madness'. If so, I'm looking forward to this mod even more!
Doesn't load at all - have installed the GOG version (not using Galaxy) on Win 10 with version 1.41. Any suggestions please?
Have installed it (GOG, but not using Galaxy) on Win 10 with version 1.41. However, an extended arm with hand appears at the top of the screen. Any ideas how to fix this?
An update: The 'Improved Lantern' mod (the modified hand part) was causing the problem. However, it now looks like I'm wearing a floppy hat when I'm walking - the brim moves up and down. At least I can play this mod now, but it is not ideal.
