Sorry all, I'm no longer supporting this mod after so much inactivity on my part. I've recently gotten back into modding and started up a brand new version, starting from scratch.

Go to this site and DL it from the Link on the page. You just extract the contents right into the Soulstorm directory.

I will NOT upload to MODDB until a full 1.0 version is ready, meaning all factions are ready for play.

Please read the first post on the thread for an idea on what the new mod will entail.

That's fine. I'll take a try at the super expensive Commander units and I'll do another boost to all Las weaponry.

As for the CoH Vehicle idea, I'll see how I can implement that.

And yes, I made the Necrons intentionally that way in an attempt to simulate the terror they inflict on other races. Currently messing around with Morale; making the marines more sturdy against morale effects and some other units invulnerable to morale damage.

And I don't think you're patronizing at all. I'm glad for the feedback, really.

Alright, lets backtrack a bit.

You need to DL 0.1 here:

Moddb.com

And install it into your SS Directory. It comes with the same SS: Legions that I used.

Then DL and install 0.2, which has Objective Points for SS, the same one I used.

Then add 0.2.5 and 0.2.6 in that order.

Before I move on, do you have the most recent versions of the three compatible mods; Dawn of Skirmish SS, Tyranids and Steel Legions?

For SL, the path is Steel_Legions_SS\Data\art\UI\Textures

Just backup that whole folder, or just the main menu files. Either or works fine

Also, yes, after you backup the Screens folder somewhere, just delete the 'main menu' files.

The 'Screens' Folder is the one, I believe. Just rename that folder to something like 'Screens-Backup' so its there if I ever fix the overlap issue

I'll put one together asap.

So far, the only compatibility issues between Fluff, Tyranids and Steel Legions is that you need to REMOVE the Main Menu UI from the Tyranids and Steel Legions modfolders or else you'll have to deal with the Main Menu being all messed up.

where do you find the weapon's filter you described? I'm fairly unsure of a fair few of Corsix's functions and scripts, so I'm not sure where to look

Do you have your Soulstorm shortcut on -dev? Try removing/adding it if that helps. And do you have both 0.1 and 0.2 downloaded?

You need both Gerb's Legion and Objective Points SS. Legion is in 0.1 and OP is in 0.2

I'm gonna try and do a split branching-type of research already in place for the Space Marines.

Base units such as the Servitor and the structures are the same, but once you pick a certain research branch, you can only use a particular set of unit.

So the Inquisition will have three research branches: Ordo Hereticus, Ordo Xenos and Ordo Malleus.

Malleus - Grey Knights and Storm Troopers
Hereticus - Sisters of Battle and Storm Troopers
Xenos - Deathwatch Space Marines

I'm gonna ask permission first for the models, but if I can, I'll definitely use the witch hunters models

I have nothing but trouble from SS and DC is a bit more stable in my opinion. I may attempt to pull the flight system from SS and put it into my mod, but I won't hold out for it.
