Well, no new sounds, or skins, or models. Pretty simple "mod" really, basically just mindless zombie killing. But eh, I enjoyed it. Can't go wrong with killing hordes of zombies.

Yeah I agree, truly an amazingly good mod. Basically as close as you can get to Half Life 2 game play without playing the official games.

This is a very good mod. I've played it the last two nights in a row and I really enjoyed it. The premise is simple, basically you play half life 2, or half life 2 esque maps with other people. Most servers have a verbatim version of half life 2 except it is co-op. On some servers however there are multiple classes the player can choose from such as medic, sniper, etc. The only real difference between these classes is that they start off with a few different weapons/items. However anyone can use any old item/weapon lying around, just like in the normal half life 2 servers. Another thing that really impressed me was the lack of lag, I expected when I joined to be in a god-awful clusterfuck of lag, but quite frankly lag was basically non-existant. Also you can for a fact download full versions of the mod from the several mirrors on the game's website. Below I have included the necessary link, also please note you currently want the 2.3 version of the mod as anything beyond that is a beta test.
