Every year when I reinstall Skyrim and dedicate a month of my free-time to it I think to myself: surely this will be the last time. Looks like I'll be wrong again.

Hi guys. Could you make the Uruk-Hai more available in the next update?
I love every Dinosaur in this mod, really do. But the Rex is a bit off. It doesn't have that mean look to it from the movies.
I will definitely download the 1.7 update when it hits :) Then I have no choice anyways.
I know you guys do, but I don't like the changes they made when you updated to version 1.5.1. The community was complaining to the TLD team that Rohan and Gondor had too tough times and they made it easier for them. I preferred it before when you had to jump between Rohan and Gondor to keep both factions alive.
I re-balance units and items myself with Morgh's editor, MB item editor, troop editor and MB barracks editor. If you are willing to put a little time in you can do that and even create new units. For example, I liked the Khamul's chosen from TATW DAC so I added them to the game with beast stats but high upkeep cost to make it fair.
The editors may or may not work on the most recent TLD overhaul version, I didn't download it because I didn't like some of the changes the TLD team made (too easy win for the good factions).
I'm still checking this page every day *_*
Me stalking this page every day like: Ulujain.org
I don't mean the in-battle strength, but how the war is scripted to turn out. Without the aid of the valiant Rohirrim, Gondor could not have held off Mordor, Harad and Rhun.
I think it would balance the game. At the moment it's either help Rohan or see them get raped. I like the challenge, but the one who should really get beaten up is Gondor.
I have a question/suggestion. Would it be possible to make it so that if the player picks Rohan, Isengard attacks settlements ruthlessly and over and over, even if their strength is failing, but if the player is Gondor or a faction in the west, that Rohan has a good fighting chance, even without the player having to intervene?
Since the TLD Overhaul team will most likely overhaul orcs after the dwarves I believe that the orc factions will be distinctly different. Gundabad and Dol Guldur should have more elite orcs, larger and with better armor, while Mordor should have the lowest of the orc scum, but with giant armies. If I may suggest (if possible), the guard legion of Mordor should be larger than it is now. 2.000 and upward would make more sense imo. The player has the opportunity to unite all good factions to march on Mordor in the end which is thousands of troops so 500 seems a bit low.
Is Minas Tirith (and some others that hadn't been changed) updated to the InVain version?
Dain had red accents on his weapons and armor too so imo it makes sense for elite troops. Looks badass!
Sweet :D If this means it's a quest given reward then I'm ready to wait longer for the next update
Is this a reward weapon?
You are spoiling us.. Beautifully made. Will there also be gear that Gimli wore? (armor, axes)
Congratulations on the new team! Can't wait for the next update.
Dude, you made the mod so freaking easy recently because some nancys from the community were too lazy to actually fight for a victory as good. Your other changes are awesome, but that was a huge mistake (in my eyes) and takes the fun away.
Ungeheuer1 Thanks for the reply! I thought as much.
*puts on Ian McKellen voice* Azog.. Or rather Azog as he should have been..
I follow your logic, but gameplay-wise I always liked just how challenging the mod was before recent changes, having to always be on guard where the enemy strikes and thwarting their attacks.
The mod is lore driven, but the whole point is that you as the player can change the outcome of the war of the ring to your liking. When you play as evil you can basically change the course of history of Middle Earth.
After all to me it's about having fun and having a challenge. As much as I love lore and as much as I just like to see Gondor and Rohan smash evil, I do play the mod for being the hero of Middle earth, riding with the Rohirrim or answering the call of Gondor.
Basically they get much bigger armies and faction strength in the beginning, so after 200 days + Mordor and Gondor are on par and the corsairs, Khand and Harad are failing. As for the AI, as has been said before the horse archers are amazing. Otherwise I don't see much difference in the AI between the old versions and the current one. They are making some good changes but making Rohan and Gondor beasts was not one of them.
Hey! Since the last time I posted here I've been playing the mod like crazy and I want to thank you guys for it. I also want to warn you to not use the latest TLD patch for the next version, but rather stick with the current one. They have made the mod WAY too easy in the new version because of stupid community requests. Basically Rohan and Gondor defeat their enemies by themselves, so playing as good doesn't make fun at all anymore.
Ok, I have informed myself and the process is indeed quite tedious.. Too time-consuming for me. If there is anyone who reads this that wants to give it a shot anyways, here is the instructive video: Youtube.com
Sidney_87 Do you have any idea where I could ask for help with this?
