Nothing is wrong with my instructions buddy, even if you don't download latest DXVK and Bridge, the mod will still work. Nvidia Remix main download includes DXVK and Bridge, but they aren't the latest version, but they will still work. I haven't abandoned this at all, I'm deep into development of the mod, to be usable for the whole game. Progress is slow, because despite my efforts, it's difficult getting more modders to join the project. I basically have to do everything myself. Compare that to HL2:Remix, who has maybe 100 modders working on it smh...

Definitive fix not needed. DX8-to-DX9 injector is needed. I suggest getting a Widescreen mod going! But Definitive fix is NOT needed. Good luck and sorry for the inconvenience!

It's sais where in the readme files of those zipfiles you downloaded from Github. Obviously Remix goes in MP main folder, DXVK I think goes in trex folder, and Bridge goes in main MP folder too. U have to doublecheck readmes. Also, Bridge and DXVK files should overwrite Remix files. Always install Remix first.

Autodownloader is broken at the moment. You need to install Remix, Bridge and DXVK manually and separately from Github. Sorry about that.

Sorry can't help with that issue as the auto downloader isn't mine. You could install Remix manually from their official Github page though, remember to grab the latest Bridge and DXVK files too.

First you should do all the essentials in the pre-requirement section, then go ahead with installation instructions. As a third step, you should follow the troubleshooting options. If still not working, pm me your d3d9.log which is located beside game executable.

Try one of the old rtx.config files, should be in e2driver. I will look over texture tagging once again tomorrow. I know one texture is faultly tagged and needs to be fixed, it swopps the mod out for vanilla in a split second when shooting the shotgun.

So, the auto updater automatically downloads the necessary files you need for remix. Just let it run, then copy the files it produces into MP main dir. You mention weird graphical glitches? SO Remix works and you get into the game? I need more specific information to help you. You're welcome by the way!

Please try one of the older rtx.config files, located in the e2driver folder. Perhaps I did a mistake in the latest revision of the config.

"Status: layer data missing" doesn't mean anything. It's there for everyone. Ryzen CPU's need a specific fix. dx9 installation is just extract to folder and install. Also install Visual c++ redist. Remix seem to have problems if you have multiple monitos connected to your PC. If you followed the instructions to the nob, it should work. DO the game boot at all? Do you make it to the main menu? Or do you have a black screen and only sound?

I know, that's why you're getting a slider to adjust it to your own taste. That's the beauty of Remix. You know, it would help if you actually read the installation instructions instead of only staring at screenshots ;)

This mod is a broken mess! As messy and unorganized as the mod author himself. He is barely providing support in the comments sections as well. Completely ignoring people with the arial_narrow error.
