Did you just slap the same TOD on every level or did you actually manually hand-craft the TOD for each level? To me they look kinda same-ish
Nooo! I don't understand how to merge the gunslinger and openxray together since gunslinger requires its own bin folder and fsgame.ltx :/ Help!
Goxy, did you get the mod running together with Openxray? I don't understand how to merge the two mods since gunslinger requires its own bin folder and fsgame.ltx :/ Help!
What engine version is the mod based on? OpenXray? I don't know how to make this mod compatible with OpenXray at all. Because of conflicting fsgame.ltx files.
**** you I'm running vanilla, and this mod is worthless!
This mod only adds some various highres ground textures, it uses the same old textures from Absolute Nature 4.04 for trees and vegetation. How is this even a "Redux" version of absolute nature? You should rename it to Absolute Grounds to be honest. By the way, this mod disables the lovely extended draw-distance and taller grass settings that's included in original AB4. Such a shame!
Crytek seem to have shut down this mod. That's why all the files are removed from moddb. They shut down another project as well, which was a Remake based on Cryengine 5.6.6:
Hello and thanks for this great mod! I really like it so far. But I have a few concerns regarding the autoexec.cfg files for this mod:
There are two typos in the config that I found, these are "sys_spec_physiscs 4" should be physics, not physiscs. Second one is "sys_spec_motioblur 5" It should be "sys_spec_motionblur 4"
Secondly, why are you forcing Vsync? It lowers the FPS and makes the game more unresponsive. There are far better alternatives should one want vsync on, for example using adaptive vsync through the drivers. I suggest removing this from the config instead of having it ON by default for people.
Also, I noticed that you listed cloud shadows as a feature for this mod, yet it's turned off in the autoexec ... "e_shadows_clouds=0" Is this deliberately done for some reason?
Finally I would suggest increasing e_view_dist_ratio_vegetation
& e_view_dist_ratio_detail to 100, and decreasing e_terrain_lod_ratio to 0.1 to further remove irritating pop-in.
That's all for now. Carry on guys! And if you need assistance with this mod in any shape of form, I'd be happy to help. I have a few nice ideas that could improve this mod. I also have a lot of experience in modding Crysis.
PS. I have a repository on cloud storage with a collection of rare mods once released by the great modding community years ago, some of which are hard or even impossible to obtain today. I'd be happy to share it with the team :) I have a couple of custom water shaders, alternative nanosuit texture mods to name a few.
What's the difference between Mafia Remastered and Mafia Community Modpack?
Thanks Phobos! Sorry for spamming, but for some reason my comments didn't appear after I posted them.
I love this mod! Thank you Team Dezowave!
I installed the Russian language pack, but since the game doesn't offer English subtitles for closed captioning I now regret my decision. Is there any way to change it back to English voices?
Thanks in advance!
Why are my comments not visible?
Quick question. I installed the Russian language pack. But since there's no working subtitles for closed captioning I now regret that decision. Is there a way to switch back to English again? Like how it was in regular Lost Alpha DC?

Very much looking forward to this mod. However, how do you plan to implement Ambient Occlusion when using the fancy water shader? I didn't get them two to work together. I get a upside down kinda looking AO and the water is all filled with black stripes. I've tried to use the different Depth Buffer alternatives in the Reshade Global config, but it didn't solve the problem. I've also searched for a way to implement Nvidia's AO but didn't find any flags for it so I didn't get that working either. It's such a shame really, since both the water shader and ambient occlusion is both lovely graphical modifications.
Hit me up if you find a way to solve this problem!
Fantastic mod! Thank you for your hard work. Here's some feedback!
I would love to see these changes in an upcoming version:
Bring back Depth of field effect when aiming down sights, as for now you only get the DOF effect when using the zoom-key, I tried to bind both the zoom and the aim-down-sight key to the same button but it didn't work.
I would also love if you could add this laser sights mod as an option:
It's the best laser sight mod and really helps aiming from the hip + it looks badass too. As for now, the game only crashes when i add the corresponding .pak file from this mod.
As other have mentioned, please add an option to remove the vignetting effect.
I am having problems when using a higher resolution than my native res which is 1920x1080, I have "virtual super resolution" activated in my gfx cards control panel and it works for almost every game out there, but in Doom 3 it makes the screen really big, it doesn't scale down properly. If possible can you look it over?
One last thing to mention: When trying to turn off Toggle RUN and Toggle CROUCH, the settings wont stay upon next time you run the game, it's a bit irritating.
**** is capped at 30 fps no matter what. **** developers!
I have exactly the same problem as uxot666. The Sunshafts/rays are missing with this mod even as they are activated in ingame settings. I tried to edit the weatherfiles in the config/environment/weather folder but did not help. I tried to remove all files in weather folder and replacing them with blueshades_god_rays_mod but then the game crashes upon loading. PLEASE FIX THIS, I love this mod but I need my GODRAYS :(
Hello good creators of this mod! I didn't really like the asphalt texture in complete 2009 because its not highres and bumpmapped enough. So i took the texture, sharpened it up in photoshop, and i took the bumpmap and increased depth to make it stick up more. I am very happy with the result and i wish that you guys could include this in your mod or to include it as an alternative download/add-on just like the "SC Realistic Weapons" add-on.
Feel free to check the fixed asphalt texture out, i uploaded it to mediafire: www(.)mediafire.com/?94flcrv612dbq46
Just put in "\THQ\S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Shadow of Chernobyl\gamedata\textures\detail" and replace as asked to. (save original files first if u want to back to the old texture)

Thx for a brilliant mod!
