that would be because of the shadows, I had two models and the light cast the shadow of the gun on the rright onto the left one making it darker inthose areas

Don't Worry! We're not dead!

Don't worry! We've been working on some new stuff! we are in the process of replacing alot of the current entities, which is why we havent updated in a while. Update will come soon though!

We are currently working on slowing the pace of the game. There will also be an alternative game mode where it is round based, so if you die you must wait until the next round to respawn, forcing the players to be more cautious and tactical.

Just letting everyone know that the Fifties is currently undergoing a HUGE overhaul, so expect some new updates in the coming months. We will be redoing all the weapon animations, as well as the character and arm models. We'll keep you all updated, and thank you all for the support. :)

I would just like to reiterate to everyone... again... Zombie mode is just a little fun game mode we made... IT IS NOT THE CENTER OF THE MOD. we are still focused on the original concept.

Yes... And mobsters is an obviously dated, 2003 graphics take on an era that took place 20 years earlier than the Fifties. Our aim is to bring this fascinating era's tactics, weapons, and architecture to a modern, clean engine with professional quality models and animations. Mobsters is a vaguely similar idea, but seems rushed, and is a completely different take on this genre than the one we are taking. In my opinion the two games aren't even comparable.

Because it has been important to me to capture the mystifying and unique feel of the 1950's in this game. That is our main goal, to create a mod with that iconic 50's feel to it. That and also the fact that the mob was notorious for becoming a much more violent group in the 1950's and also the fact that the police had almost no idea of the mafia's existence in 1920. It wasn't til the 1950's that the national fight against organized crime began.

Exactly! There is a buy menu implemented in the game, so you can buy a grease gun for cheap until you are able to afford a thompson, but I actually prefer the grease gun

We may add those in a future release of the game but they will unfortunately not be in the first release of the mod

Nope haha, i think in total it was about 10 hours of sleep spread out through this but there was always at least 1 or 2 of us working. I think i myself only got about 3 hours of sleep, all of which i had my headset on so everyone heard me haha
