I can't seem to get this to work.
I made a Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars folder to My Documents. Then a mods folder. Added the files both to the folder and a TibSec folder just encase.

I added -UI to my launch options but instead of opening a launcher, the game just launches normally.

A Klingon D7. Accompanied by two Sarcophagi vessels. The USS Korolev was accompanied by two Kelvins, a Cardenas and a backup of various Frigates comprising the 4th fleet. The D7 was engaged by and distracted by a fleet of Poseidon's and Hermes lead by the USS Crossfield and a fleet of Neptune's normally reserved for patrols.

I lost all the ENT era ships and the rest were badly damaged but the D7 was left with enough broken ridges for the USS Constitution to intercept her as she attempted to withdraw.

An overall victory for me. Considering how the AI pretty much appeared to have spent it's entire economy on that D7, targeting it's trade centres nearby was the next logical course of action. Civilian casualties were within an acceptable range.

Depends what science you apply. Real world science would get weird. Chronitons are hypothetical, so we don't fully know how they'd interact with anyone or space/time if they were concentrated enough.

In Trek science. There have been many examples of Chroniton fiels allowing people etc to pass through time unscaved for the most part.

Considering the proximity toa Pulsar, there would be a risk of the Lexington or Republic being torn apart. Or even being cleaved in two if the window inexplicately closed.

For the most part the ship would likely become stranded in the future until Starfleet or Temporal Investigations decide what to do. Send her back via Time Warp, go back and prevent the two ships going to the system, or swear them to secrecy and refit the ship/scrap it.

// Starfleet Temporal Investigations : Temporal Incursion Log - 37-Gamma //
// Temporal Command, Earth. 3052. //

Earth Years - 2256 & 2276
Involved Starships:-
USS Lexington NCC-1709 - Constitution Class (MK-III Post-War Refit)
Launched: 2249, Refited 2269.
Commanding Officer: Commodore Robert "Bob" Wesley
Current Status: Consigned to Starfleet Museum, Earth

USS Republic NCC-1371 - Consitution Class (MK-V Class Overhaul)
Launched: 2250, Refitted 2270.
Commanding Officer: Captain Stephen Garrovick.
Current Status: Training Vessel, Starfleet Academy c2374

Temporal Incursion experienced druing a Chroniton Burst Event (Temporal Event Class: III) at the Pulsar identifiedas PSR J0108-1431. Caused by the warping of space/time by the Pulsar's stellar mass interacting with leaked chroniton particles from a cloaked Tal'Shiar vessel on long range recon.

What occured?: USS Lexington was allowed to view the USS Republic as she appeared in 2276, twenty years in her future.

Action Taken?: Not Applicable. Chroniton Radiation prevented scans of either ship to take place.

Glossary:
PSR - Stellar Classification shorthand for Pulsar, a type of Neutron star.

MK-V Class Overhaul - Commonly called the Constitution Class Refit or Refit Class introduced in the dawn of the 2270s.

MK-III Post-War Refit - "White Duranium" appearance of the Constitution class introduced in the 2260 after the Klingon-Federation war of 2254. See Glossary Appendix for MK-I, MK-II and MK-IV Definitions below. Tritanium/Titanium Alloy replaced with Duranium/Polytanium alloy for a "Cream" finish. H.C.S removed following incompatabilities with new generation of Duotronic systems.

MK-I Constitution Class - Initial design of the ship. Featuring "Antennae pylons" protruding from Buzzard collector ports.

MK-II Constitution Class - Introduced in 2254 based on modifications made to USS Enterprise. Introducing a Tritanium/Titanium alloy for a silver finish, necelle pylons "Split" in the middle for dual-channel EPS lines with reduced risk of interaction, and the introduction, and quick removal of the Prototype, Holographic Communication System (H.C.S).

MK-IV Constitution Class - Nicknamed the Phase-II and was shortlived. Was considered a "Mid-Step" leading up to the introduction of the MK-V, introduced 2268, phased out in 2270 with the USS Enterprise returning to the Earth, San Francisco Fleet Yards as the First MK-V.

Random thought but it just occured to me that Starfleet during the ENT Era has no Discovery, Yorktown or Minuteman classes?

The Discovery is defined as a Scout that was brought into service in the late 2150s during the Earth-Romulan War, seemingly a replacement for the aging Emmet Type. The Yorktown a battleship above the Poseidon and NX classes and Earth's first starship to feature shields. And the Minuteman was a destroyer that seemed to be a replacement for the Intrepid type.

On another note I'm experiencing a random crash that occurs after about 10-20min into a game. The only thing that I'm doing when the crash occurs is selecting a ship or station. The first crash I selected a research station while it was working on phaser technology, the second I selected an NX Class. And the third I selected a Surok class.

Congrats on the launch.
I've played a few matches with friends and we've loved it so far.

A few issues we did note were some texture issues.
Those were my only complaints. The others however did make note of the weapon FX and SFX being wrong for Starfleet and that the NX is straight up a Columbia class when you get it.

I've so far encountered only one bug not related to textures.

On occasion progression will stop at times due to research not being considered Complete. Preventing progression to the next era.

This is sometimes fixed by deleting the station and rebuilding it to research items again. The station in question being the design bureau.

So far I'm giving this a solid 8/10.

I can't wait to see what else is to come and if we see any more Starfleet museum ships.

I hope to also see the Kelvin, Okinawa and Akula classes one day.

Keep up the amazing work!

Data Entry - 1185/A - Starship Design and Classes
Sub-File - #1030 - Crossfield Class Starship

The Crossfield Class was at it's time considered "Controversial". This was in due part to it's stark contrast in design and aesthetic that like the Walker Class, made it appear completely alien to other ship classes of the era. Introduced in the 2250s the original Proto-Crossfields, The Crossfield, Discovery and Glenn, featured a warmer shade of hull, elongated nacelles with exposed grilles that glowed blue. Whilst most vessels at the time had a cold, silvery to cream colouring with no exposed grilles on the nacelles. The colour differences were largely due to the different materials used in the creation of their Duranium Alloys, while most Starfleet ships were built by Earth at it's Utopia Planetia and San Francisco Fleet Yards. The Crossfield was largely built at the 40 Eridani Shipyards above Vulcan. The difference in construction methods resulted in a starship that effectively stood out like a sore thumb in an ocean of near identical ships. Another feature was that this vessel like many Vulcan designed ones did not feature "Push Buttons", switches or any physical controls. Largely using touch screen interfaces and relatively primitive holographic displays, many of these technologies were at the time experimental and it was abandoned in favor of the brightly coloured buttons and switches many immediately recognize as iconic for the 2250s and 60s due to their repeated failures and high maintenance costs which made these, while fancy and attractive and superior in function, completely unacceptable during a war.

This controversy eventually died off with the Utopia Planitia and San Francisco Fleet Yards taking over the majority of Starfleet's construction efforts during the Klingon War of the 23rd century. Due to Starfleet's attention moving towards vessels with better weaponry to face the Klingon threat and the Vulcan's being unwilling to make ships of war, the Vulcan shipyards became solely responsible for building science and scouting ships such as the Archer Class, Franklin Class and Walker Class.

The Crossfield eventually was used as inspiration with her sister class, the Asia, when designing the Constitution Class. Aspects of both can be seen in the Constitution. A round, disk like saucer section, cylindrical nacelles and overall size.

After the war, the Crossfield resumed Scientific missions as Starfleets premier "Long-Range Exploration Ship", a role that the Excelsior, Intrepid and Discovery classes of the 2280s, 2370s and 2400s would share.

Did you know?:
That the Crossfield class had a independently moving section of hull within her saucer section on the Vulcan built versions. During certain situations the ships Gravity plating had to be deactivated to reroute power elsewhere, the centrifugal force of this motion allowed the bridge and sickbay to maintain gravity. It was also akin to the Vulcan admiration for Coleopteric Warp Engines or "Warp Rings". However the primary function of this independent "Inner Ring" on the Saucer was what would eventually evolve into Saucer Separation featured on almost all Starship designs after the Constitution. In emergencies the connections could be disabled ant the inner ring would "Fall" out of the main saucer, allowing the crew to escape to safety. Eventually this method was abandoned, largely due to issues with the connections but also due to many in Starfleet finding it quite frankly ridiculous.

Unfortunately the Crossfield never saw action post 2280 during the "Renaissance" period of the Federation when many vessels developed more elegant lines like the Constitution Refit, Excelsior, Akula and Miranda Refits. However in the 2410's a few vessels were brought out of museum service and upgraded when the Federations forces were badly depleted following th-Error #42: Data Corrupted.

Andrommieda - - 96 comments @ Torpedoes Away!

Memory Alpha - Galactic Archives.
Data Entry - 2145/G - Stellar Warfare
Sub-File - #1 - Basic Weaponry

Throughout history space faring civilizations have largely fitted their ships with some form of defensive or offensive technology. From point-defense weapons to protect against debris and missiles, to electronic countermeasures to defend against target locks. Weapons have always gone hand in hand with starships, military and civilian alike.

The most basic of these weapons are Nuclear Missiles and Laser Cannons. Over the years these have been enhanced and adapted into new forms and their evolution has always been driven by war and necessity. During Earth's early days of space exploration many vessels were fitted with "Spatial Torpedo's" And Plasma, Laser and or Particle cannons (Depending on if it was Starfleet, Private or Civilian). Eventually by the 2150s these were phased out with Phase Cannons and Photonic Torpedo's (Matter/Anti-Matter Weapons capable of being fired while at Warp, hence the name)

The Earth-Romulan War even saw Starfleet abandon it's long use of Hull Polarization technology in favor of Shields as featured on the Yorktown, Columbia and Daedalus Classes, making them much more useful in engagements against the Romulans than the NX, Intrepid or Poseidon class.

This very war did see extensive use of nuclear weaponry however, through at the hands of the Romulans. Romulan vessels were fitted with nuclear torpedo's while newer ships only used these as part of their self-destruct mechanism as it was the later parts of the war that saw the introduction of one of the most effective torpedo types. The Plasma Torpedo.

The Plasma Torpedo is a signature weapon of the Romulan Star Navy. Fitting perfectly with their Plasma Cannons. These weapons are, like their photon cousins, fitted with a M/AM Warhead but use high-energy plasma (related to Electroplasma). Primitive Plasma Torpedo's were capable of warping and deforming the hulls of their targets. While the antimatter warhead did the majority of the damage, the plasma would spread across the hull. Burning and melting it. Earning these torpedo's a nickname of Romulan Fire, a reference to an ancient weapon used by the Greeks of Earth, Greek Fire. Named so because it could not be extinguished as it was oil set ablaze.

However, as noted during an encounter in the 2260s, the Plasma Torpedo is not the Romulan's primary weapon. It is in fact their variant of a Heavy Weapon. This is because the firing of a Plasma Torpedo requires so much power that their vessels had to de-cloak prior to firing. But this did not matter as once the enveloping plasma struck its target the resulting implosion would cause damage to even the interior of the ship, shaking it to its core. Almost like a depth charge used on ancient aquatic vessels known as submarines.

The description of the first use of Plasma Torpedo's is sketchy at best. Some report similar weapons during the Earth-Romulan War. Others say the Neutral Zone incident of the 2260s was their first known use. Others protest that they had been used against Klingons in the 21st century. Whatever the truth is, they are still extremely dangerous. It's one thing to blow your target up, but to also melt it's hull is another. After all, what is more effective? Simply killing your enemy, or striking fear into them to demoralize the troops?

Did you know?:
That Starfleet Ships in the 2240s to 2260s were known to use Pulse and Beam phasers?
Older ships such as the Walker Class, used a pulsing "Electric Blue" phaser cannon. While more modern vessels like the Constitution used a solid beam weapon. This is because Phaser Banks require more space than their cannon companions. Pulse weapons also require less time to charge and fire. Making them effective on ships designed with speed in mind, or where space is a premium.

A Prime example of a ship using both types of weapon is the Kelvin Class. The USS Kelvin used pulse phaser cannons that would deploy from beneath the hull, while also using Phaser Banks. An unusual combination on a ship of science, but it's introduction in the 2230s was a time where these vessels were entering the unknown and necessitated such defenses. Proving useful against raiders and pirates alike.

In the next file you will learn about Advanced Torpedo's and Weapons, such as Phaser Arrays, Quantum Torpedo's, "Shield Buster" Torpedo's and Gravimetric Torpedo's. After that you will read about Exotic Torpedo weapons, Tricobalt, Transphasic, Isolytic and Chroniton.

(I know some info is shortened or "Wrong". This is on purpose as I'm writing these under the guise of archivists that are living centuries after the events, plus I'm trying to respect both Canon and Non-Canon sources.)

Memory Alpha - Galactic Archives.
Data Entry - 43892/B - Exotic Stellar Bodies
Sub-File - #11 - Black Holes and other similar phenomenon

Black Holes. Regions of spacetime where gravity is so strong that nothing can escape it's grasp, not even light, EM Radiation or particles.

Under the current models for general relatively, black holes exist due to an object of sufficient density and mass effectively "tares" a hole in space. Leading to where, no one really knows. Current theories pose that a Black Hole leads to a "White Hole" where matter and energy is spewed out after being "recycled" by Black Holes. Leading to the creation of new forms of matter.

Once matter enters the "Event Horizon" it is lost forever until it supposedly reappears from a White Hole, though admittedly changed. Warped, Obliterated, Changed forever.

Some theories even pose that black holes are similar in nature to Wormholes, but rather than connecting to other regions within the universe, they can traverse into an entirely new universe. This theory shares elements with White holes in that in this new universe the white hole appears, spewing matter and energy into it as a sort of big bang, or as a particle fountain.

Ultimately very little is truly known about these behemoths beyond the realms of theory.

What is known, or rather confirmed by Starfleet vessels observing these bodies, is that Space and Time become warped the closer one travels to a Black Hole. For example, in the 2230's the USS Fahrenheit (Kelvin Class) launched a probe to observe one such body. As the probe approached the black hole on it's first and last mission, the on board clock began to loose it's sync to that of the Fahrenheit's. From the Fahrenheit's observations the probe was launched at 14:30 hours and was lost at 14:40. The Fahrenheit was able to maintain it's uplink for at least at 4 minuets into the mission, but took 5 hours to fully access the data. The reason behind this was that the probe recorded several hours of data, an example of time dilation.

Sadly the ship was lost on the same day in what would become an example of what happens when a vessel enters Warp while within the gravitational effect of a black hole.

While standard Impulse engines are able to maintain a distance for a time, the effect of a Sub-Space Bubble "Warping" an already "Warped" region of space had devastating consequences. The ship successfully entered warp, but when it arrived at Starbase 8, the vessel and her crew were not the same. While at first they were by all means "Normal" over the period of four to five hours the crew began to suffer from psychosis. Eventually committing mass murder and suicide on board the vessel. Crew logs recovered stated the crew felt the ship had become "Alive" as if warping, warped space somehow allowed the ship to travel through another dimension. Indeed some records may support this as the ships logs indicate several forms of unknown energy and radiation were picked up as the ship entered and exited warp, and the vessel took 4.5 hours to reach Starbase 8, as opposed to 2 Days. This became known as the Event Horizon Incident and is one of Starfleet's greatest mysteries, and as a result Starfleet banned the use of Warp Drives within the vicinity of Black Holes and similar phenomenon.

The White Hole.
A Mystery in it's own right. No White hole has ever been discovered but the theory of it's existence is not unique to Earth. Multiple civilizations have theorized of it and even some pose it as the origin of their creation myth. The White Hole is a fabled reversal of the Black Hole. Considered to be ejecting a stream of matter and energy which will then go on to become new Stars, Planets etc. It's even theorized that the gravity effects at White holes is reversed. Pushing matter and energy away. Due to it's nature many scientists have attempted to explain it's possibility using quantum mechanics and quantum physics. But to this day none have been discovered. It's possible that the White Holes only come into existence when a black hole swallows matter, closing again.

Because of this, many predict they are similar to the Big Bounce (A Theory that after a Big Crunch, all the matter and energy is condensed in such a way a new Big Bang occurs). Once the matter is eaten and stored by Black Holes it's then converted by the energies and gravity of black holes into it's natural forms, it's forces that hole it together torn apart. The White Hole then releases it as it's constituent forms, Quarks, Leptoms, Gauge Bosons and Scalar Bosons, the Four Elementary Particles.

End of Introductory File. Full File is comprised of several pages due to the complex nature of the Black Hole. As a message from our chief scientist at Memory Alpha, "One does not simply "Condense" a Black Hole into laymen terms. Black Holes condense you."

(I hope you all enjoyed the Event Horizon reference)

Memory Alpha - Galactic Archives.
Data Entry - 43892/B - Exotic Stellar Bodies
Sub-File - #12 - Neutron Star's and Related Bodies - Abridged for Domestic Access.
Some Information has been redacted and/or changed to make it more accessible and understandable. For example, exact mathematical formulae may be removed in favour of a more laymans approach.

The Neutron Star is the remnant core of what was once a larger star between 10 to 30 solar masses, in "Death" they are amongst the smallest and most dense type of star known to exist beyond Quark Stars and the hypothetical Strange Stars.

On Average they have a radius of 10 Kilometers and a mass range of 1.4 to 3 S-Masses. They are born from the gravitational collapse in conjunction with a supernova. This process compresses the core past that of a "White Dwarf".

In schools on Earth the size of these starts is often represented by a Marble or Ping-Pong Ball, while standard G-Type Stars (Sol for Example) are often represented by a Basketball.

Neutron stars are so heavily compressed that their very gravitational field has the power to "tare" apart planets it can come into contact to. Making a Rouge Neutron Star one of thee most dangerous threats to space fairing civilisations.

Related to the Neutron Star is the Pulsar. They are highly magnetised, rapidly rotating neutron stars that emit beams of electromagnetic radiation. As a result they have in the past been used as "Galactic Lighthouses". Guiding space faring individuals without access to more sophisticated navigational sensors or those whose access to such technologies is limited or lost.

The most famous examples of Pulsars are known as the Vela, Crab and Geminga Pulsars. The Vela is famed for it's "Helicopter" sound (An ancient aircraft unique to Earth). The Crab was famed more for it's "Annoying" Sound, rotating so fast that it sounded like a constant vibration. While Geminga is famed not for it's sound, but it's "Ghost" like appearance when viewed with the ancient "Chandra" X-Ray telescope built by Earth.

Pulsar's, like their Neutron Star siblings are equally dangerous. The EM Fields and strong Gravitational forces are significant enough to pose a threat to even the most advanced shields known to Federation science. The same fields, like it's Neutron Star siblings, are capable of warping and destroying planets, starships, asteroids and anything unlucky enough to get close enough.

Pulsars however, should never be confused for Magnetars, which are by far a significantly more dangerous and equally more wondrous star.

The Magnetar has at times by Human scientists been simplified as "a Pulsars abusive father", or "a Pulsar that takes steroids and never leaves the gym".
Their magnetic fields have the power to cause significant damage to vessels and indeed entire systems from a significant distance. However due to the relatively rare nature of these stars, the exact distance is still not known. A Magnetar interestingly enough actually has a far slower rotation, meaning you wouldn't "Hear" it like you would a Pulsar, or see a bright beam of light spinning in the dark either. Indeed they spin at around 8-10 times per second, while still "Fast" it isn't as fast as it's relatives. These stars even have a magnetic field that is recorded at being 1 Quadrillion times more powerful than the Earths which measures as a measly 25-65µT (Micro-Tesla), making them to most magnetic objects in the known universe.

End of File

We at Memory Alpha are required to warn against civilian vessels travelling within at least:-
50 AU - Neutron Star
85 AU - Pulsar
120 AU - Magnetar

We thank you for your cooperation.

Honestly? I kinda like it. Even if it is an April Fools.
I like the new one. I also Like the old one.

The new one makes use of budgets and technologies CBS and Roddenberry didn't have access to in the 60s. The old one is iconic and simple.

Honestly I think both would be doable.
2157-2220 - ENT-Kelvin Style
2220-2240 - TOS Style
2240-2260/End of Mod span - DSC and Axenar Style

Personally I find the DSC style.. while controversial, to be adequate. Largely because I don't see the point in being pretentious like.. some fans.. and think I have the right to speak for the people who own the Franchise. I am simply grateful the franchise still exists and continues to exist and challenge our perceptions of the world and its issues.

The TOS Style of ships looked as they were, put together with a minimal budget. The hull's were too uniform, no seams or panelling. Nothing to suggest it was a hull but instead a cast mold, plastic model. Where as DSC, TNG, DS9, VOY and ENT hull's looked like Metal, looked like they were built and forged.

I'd welcome the change if it were real. But at the same time I do see myself... missing the old style. I think the old style, to keep the hard work put into it should be used as the bridge between ENT and DSC aesthetics. Such a jump would be... jarring and awkward looking without a bridge.
