I played this game a few months ago and there were a few little jump scares and I don't know if there have been any updates or not but I feel like more could be achieved with this game. My biggest issue I had when I played it was how you had to figure out most of the controls instead of the info popping up on the screen. I didn't mind how short it was (like I said it may be longer now due to possible updates) because I like a "quickie" every now and then lol.
