The mods I'm wanting to use reskin the combine soldiers and a model replacement for Alyx. As long as the folders are at the top of the file list they should more or less work?

If anyone knows how to do this correctly; I'm trying to use custom reskins/models but I'm not sure which folder to install them in or how to do it without breaking anything file wise. Any advice would be great.

This is manchild behavior but at this point most of the source community is filled with people like that.

I get that we barely get anything for the Half-Life series but holding Valve at such a low standard is just gonna end up with people accepting really low quality content. (Which sadly most people seem to do anyways...)

Valve is a $10 billion company, they're not indie devs who are scrapping by. Also you're further making me believe you hate the modding community and make me question why you're here even more.

All of you are being complete ******** for something that has broken a ton of stuff. A work around is a not a fix to something that shouldn't have been an issue. Even OPFOR and Blue Shift are broken as a result of the update, along with Counter Strike and DoD.

I hope it gets fixed but Valve should have tested this a lot more than they did.

The scripting for many mods are broken at the moment, so hopefully they fix this issue soon... (Probably never)

I've been meaning to get back to it with a full scale mod but due to current living standards at the moment it will be a while till I have the proper time to work on it. I can however make something for OpFor sometime next month if my internet is up.
