Hi everyone,
I have really good news!
New version is coming really soon (actually it's already submitted for Desura approval):
1) Some bug fixes and improvements ... including fix for movement issue in Linux
2) Built-in localization for 6 languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian and Russian!
Thanks everyone who support us!
Hi, sorry for delayed answer - i've just come back from long absence and continue work on update (translations and movement fix).
Hope it will be ready within 2 weeks.
Sorry for delay and thanks a lot for your patience and support!
Hi,
This is strange issue in Linux version, i'm working on it.
I will release new version add news as soon as it will be solved (please keep an eye on this page), so you'll able to get updated version.
Sorry for inconvenience,
Alex
I'm not sure what have happened, since game was tested under Linux Gentoo and didn't have such issues.
Anyway - i'm starting investigations and will release update as soon as stable solution will be found.
Sorry for inconvenience.
Will be great!
Thanks everyone for support! I'll prepare test files and all related stuff ASAP and will contact you directly.
Sounds interesting!
Looks like i need to prepare text files and find 2 more translators for German and Spanish .. and maybe Japanese =)
Hi criggie,
Thanks a lot for your purchase and feedback!
Frankly speaking - i've tried to make game quite hardcore, so it's almost impossible to win (just by fighting and moving forward) too fast.
There are more then 10 different equipment (swords and shields), those are really give you an advance, but you should find them first. It isn't hard but... monsters are really strong.
So there is one more important thing - resurrection coins, you obtain them by collecting green orb dropped from dead monsters.
Taking into account these features - i can suggest an USEFUL TRICK: sometimes it worth to move forward really fast to find more powerful equipment (but runaway from powerful monsters). Then you can come back to previous location(where are weaker monsters) with it and kill them all - to collect green orbs/resurrection coins (and look for hidden chests etc).
Hope this will help!
There are about 250 words.
How much the translation can cost?
Anyway - thanks for proposition!
I 'd like to do localization, unfortunately i can't promise it soon.
To be honest , it also depend on amount of customers from relevant countries who need/request FIGS languages.
Looks like there is strange issue with some Linux distributives :(
Do you use version for Linux 64 or general Linux build?
If so - could you please try build for Linux 32?
Yeah, i plan to make full-scale RPG in future.
Of course with ability to customize your character)
Hi lonetrav and thanks for your interest!
Regarding your questions:
1. This game have iterative type of gameplay, i.e. there is no save/load functionality. Player need to investigate game/world step by step to have ability avoid mistakes or get advantage in next iteration.
Although there is kind of resurrection system (player can gather resurrection points by killing monsters or just find them in some chests), so the single death doesn't mean start of fully new iteration.
2. According to my investigations:
- Average playtime for new player is usually more then 6h, if player will investigate whole world.
- Of course if player already knows game very well and will never die (this is almost impossible) - it can be much faster.
3. There is slight random in monsters positions/movement and which items player will able to find in barrels etc.
Hope this will help!
If so - could you please try build for Linux 32?
Thanks for info!

Hi brashrooster,
Nice to meet you and thanks a lot for your purchase and nice feedback!
I'm really sorry about your issue with movement (although i have never faced with such bug during testing)
Please let me know which OS/hardware do you use?
Any additional info will be appreciated, so i'll try to fix the issue ASAP.
I've tried to make controls etc. really clear and casual, so everyone(even my mom :)) will able to play game. So there are no complex inventory/customization system, although it will be quite tough to survive and finish game.
Hi everyone and thanks alot for nice words!
Hope you will like this humble game! :)
