Yah, we've been really busy over the last couple of months, all good busy though so hold tight.

WW2 and FPSs have been so overdone... that being said, I can't wait for your game. I am seriously interested in WW2 history and the thought of fighting for Monte Cassino would be insane. (Please tell me that will be included in your game)

Will your game feature a single player campaign or will it be strictly multiplayer? What is your dev cycle looking like?

Your first suggestion is really interesting... especially the bit about taking control on the person she is envious of. Right now Lust has the ability to control enemies because she can "stun them with her beauty" but nothing is final... awesome!

It's not a bad idea! For us, Envy was the hardest sin to depict artistically... I mean, how does someone who is envious look? We are still evaluating her and may change a few things... we have a suggestion thread on forums.partyofsin.com if you wanted to post more ideas!

You guys were pretty much in line with what we were thinking. We wanted to contrast Purgatory to Hell a significant amount but still maintain some similarities. We want the game to transition smoothly from world to world but still offer differences.

The game was never done. I spoke a lot about this in the postmortem we did on ModDB (https://www.moddb.com/mods/eternal-silence/features/eternal-silence-post-mortem-part-2). At the time I decided the issues with the game were too deep-rooted to keep patching. A large cleanup needed to be done, and we lacked the energy. After 6 years of development on HL2 (and two more years on BF), we handed the game over to the community. Keep up the good work.
