Day 1 of the Extreme Masters III Global Finals is over with 30 games played and more to come.
Both fnatic and mTw finished on top of their groups which automatically qualifies them for the Double-elimination brackets, whilst SK Gaming , Meet Your Makers , Team ALTERNATE and WeMade FOX will have to play relegation matches to determine which two teams will advance.
Relegation pairs:
SK Gaming vs. WeMade FOX
Meet Your Makers vs. Team ALTERNATE
The tournament brought many interesting games and also some major upsets. Such as Team EG US's bad performance and their southern neighbours Made in Brazil , who's only victory caused a major upset for the Swedish SK Gaming .
